Which City game has annoyed you the most?

There was a moment when we went 2-0 down at Anfield, March/April 2014. They were all over us, Hart made a blinding save from a free header, then from the resulting corner, Skrtel got another free header and scored. Felt like we were throwing the league away to those fuckers.
That’s probably the angriest I’ve been watching us. Completely lost it, booted a hole into the side of the sofa.

Any games against Spurs or Real even when we have won they have been lucky.

Worst one is season openere 2000/01 away to Chartlon. I have never felt so deflated and annoyed in my life. Claus F*kin Jensen and Graham Stuart was runninf rings around us. Claus has never been able to run.

One that springs to mind,
When we could of won the league in record time v the rags, 2 nil up at half time and sterling had missed a few good chances too.
All for them to come back and beat us at home 2-3 .
Grrrrrrrr
Absolutely. When I saw the thread title that match immediately sprang to mind. In fact I've posted on BM before about how it affected me. A once in a lifetime opportunity to really rub their noses in it and we blew it. It literally took me months to get over it. Typical City at their finest :-(

The chance to do a domestic Double Double which has never been done nor probably never will be tossed away due to a collective hangover?
It was a fucking awful defeat to accept.
The other lows occurred by teams that tried their best but for one reason or another it didn't happen for them on the day.
Yes but at least we were champions with best manager in world opposed to staring into the abyss

It really was a bad one that complete lack of regard for the supporters who forked put £ hundreds to go Wembley, complete lack of professionalism and finally why not go for the chance of a double double?

Absolutely disgraceful by all involved.

And then the week later, the rags lose at home to WBA and give us the title anyhow !

This and always this.
Imagine winning the league against them cunts

Still winds me up

The second Cup final against that lot.

It was a chance for immortality, by doing a Double Double to add to our Treble of the previous season, and would have meant no European football ar the swamp a year earlier.

And we played like a bunch of fannies.
Excellent post but I disagree with your last line.
We played like a bunch of drunks.
I know how hard it was to keep the squad focused and I'm fully aware that most would be fucking off on international duty the day after, but to hold the end of season piss up on the Monday before the cup final was a) professionally wrong and b) a kick in the teeth to all the Blues who'd forked out their hard earned to go.
As you say, a double double. Thrown away because they got totally pissed and never physically recovered.

United cup final and Wigan cup final. No silver linings, no changes in history as a result, just didn't turn up and lost games and trophies we should have won easily.

Cl final vs chelsea doesn't bother me as I couldnt get to that and being in Istanbul to see us win it for the first time as part of the treble is easily worth the sacrifice.

Similarly, the united league game for the title doesnt bother me either as it would have meant Jesus lobbing the keeper at Southampton with the last kick of the season to secure 100 points wouldn't have happened either and that away end went ballistic when that happened.

Most upset was possibly after the Maine Rd derby in 93. We were winning 2-0 (Quinn), and they came back and beat us 3-2. We’d battered them and threw it away. Great atmosphere. Pandemonium on the Kippax when Quinn’s 2nd went in. Ended up about 20 yards away from where I was initially stood before the goal went in. Despair at the end.
The fact that we'd been singing "Galatasaray Galatasaray, two-nil up and you fucked it up, Galatasaray" at them time and time again before and during the game just added to it. Typical City.
