Which City game has annoyed you the most?

Last year's Derby at home, wouldn't of been arsed with the outcome of the season if we'd of won that. Always looked at the table to see where the rags would be with -3 haa

0-3 Champions League defeat at Anfield is one game I often think about a lot. Also a 1-3 game at Anfield where I always thought Salah looked and still haven't seen a replay that proves me wrong.

The Salah game was one I thought of straight away seeing this thread as it was the first time I'd really thought that VAR was being used to manipulate games and I hated myself for it. The day before that game there was a marginal offside at Spurs that took over 4 minutes for them to reach a decision. Salah was still running away celebrating when the commentator said it had been checked and cleared by VAR. A total nonsense.

6-3 v the Rags with the hat tricks for Haaland and Foden. Quite genuinely if Pep didn't take the whole midfield off I believe we'd have hit them for 10 that day.

Exactly how I remember it as well

Would like to nominate two FA cup quarter finals Liverpool, late 80s I think. After seeing off Plymouth in the 5th round had convinced myself it could be our year. Once we drew the dippers I felt pessimistic but hoped for an upset. Hammered 4 0 and victims of some dubious refereeing.
The Spurs quarter in the 90s was far more disappointing really thought we'd win that and went in front early on. After that Spurs played us off the park until the pitch invasion after which both sides stopped trying and referee blew for full time bang on 90 minutes.
In those days getting to the quarter final was a huge deal and the disappointment overwhelming. As against this probably the happiest I've felt was the 2011 semi. Never saw that coming.
Spurs QF even more disappointing as our hopes had been raised by Sheron putting us 1 up early on.
Newly opened Umbro/Platt Lane a bit of a disappointment too but from the Kippax it seemed easy enough to reach the pitch from.

And Pep etc never said fuck all either

Generally, I'm more disappointed than annoyed when things go against us and usually with the ref rather than anything the team has done. However, the Feyenoord home game last season got right under my skin. 3-0 up and cruising against a really poor opposition with 17 minutes to go and utterly crumbled. It wasn't just bad, it was unprofessional. I never expected it from a Pep team with such great players.

Fuck me, where do you start?

Here are a few, though there are a lot more.

QPR and Jamie Pollock.

Notts County a couple of times.

Luton.

Stoke 5-2.

Wigan and Palace at Wembley.

Scoring four in the FMC final and still not winning v Chelsea.

The cl final in Porto.

City fans getting on Richard Edghill’s back (v Coventry…?)

shatwell allowing that offside goal by the rat.

Alf grey.

It is hard to choose just the one.
Liverpool FA Cup QF when Barnes should have been penalised before they came back. Then Johnstone went through at the end when we were chasing a game we never should have been.
I was annoyed at the officials that much I smashed the flask inside my satchel...

We had 4 big decisions go against us that night and had our coach smashed up with the players on it.

One of three of those decisions would have given us an away goal. When I watched it back the next day I thought it could only be corruption.

City should have refused to play if the police and club can’t guarantee the players safety. We were far too soft letting them get away with that.

Then to rub salt into the wounds the incorrectly disallowed goal and hitting the post twice in the second leg. We could have been 4-3 up

There's been lots down the years.

Luton sending us down.

Murderers at home when we got relegated, City taking the ball in the corner to kill the game we needed to win.

Numerous Spurs games when they've spunked it with dubious decisions.

Wembley hasn't been great, murderers in the semi, wigan, scum, Palace finals.

Chavs in Portugal, Lyon in Portugal.

Feyenord last year, blowing the lead which would of give us automatic qualification thus avoiding Madrid.

Been loads, but ive loved the journey.
