Haaland got the first 2 with class, and struggled to get his 3rd.

Insane, because his standards are the highest, best striker in the world and his goals are winning us games.

But I chose Foden.

His creating was sublime, he had a perfect game.

Foden all day long.

We don’t win this game without him. Created pretty much all of our chances.

O’Reilly, Nico and Haaland also played well, loved Cherki’s cameo too. Bernardo looked good from the bench as well.

Haaland, both Nico's and Nunes, all played well. I went with Erl.

Seems we are unable to put together two good halves. That half was pretty poor.

Second half to be much improved. 2-0 City.

Great all game, and two fabulous pre-assist passes to set up the goals.

Nico O'R also had a very good game, though I thought both wingers were poor.

Everyone but a few of them lit it up in the second. Nunes, both Nico’s, obviously big Erl. But I dont think we would have got the goals without Phil suddenly waking up and spraying them passes, unreal.

I think Doku probably had his first poor performance since the start of the season, but I thought Savinho did pretty well other than the one big chance he should have done better with.

I thought Sav was very wasteful with his passing, especially in the first half.

Great assist for Erling’s second, though.

It’s funny -or maybe not - how we all see things differently.

Haaland would normally be the choice as he scored 2 but had 3 pretty much 1 on 1s with the keeper in injury time and made a bit of a hash of them all.

Everyone was decent, especially Gonzalez, but in the end I went for Nunes who played some good balls in behind for Savinho in the first half and did everything else very well for the full 90. He's quietly becoming a very good RB.
