He could have worded it better and obviously he’s never going to be very popular on here. It’s pretty clear what he was getting at was essentially right. You could take it as the flag wavers or more pertinently the likes of Simon Jordan, Jeremy Kyle and Farage

Them people giving the lady grief are out of order and they are the type of people that make arguing for the flags difficult. Because what happens is people use this handful of people to prove a point they have built. A bit like that guy who dressed up for the protest and looked for toothless cretins who attended with bad intensions and solely uploaded these people, not the many good people he will have spoken to that day. That is the problem both ways and when divides are talked about, being unable to see the wood from the trees causes that, as I can comfortably say them people giving the lady shit are scum and need to sort their lives out. It is good timing off the back of that deluded woman on the Max Rushton show yesterday. Where they came from the left and chose again to label and discriminate against a group of people they don't agree with (irony ey). When raising the numerous crimes that some of the illegals have made so far (one should be enough) she said how that is the minority and they all should not be tarred with that brush Even more irony because apparently everybody who raised the flag are a nazi or racist, off the back of a handful of people in videos like that. That show yesterday was a shambles, they was unhappy that Simon Jordan went unchallenged when making valid points, whilst allowing a 30 minute slot or so go unchallenged too. Another dose of irony.

Exactly, here is the case in point. Some knob heads verbally abusing a woman means you are all the same and in that camp. Yet even though you are fighting the corner of illegals, with now plenty of cases of different types of assault, does that mean you agree with their actions then?

We all agree Neville is a wanker historically.

In that other issue, probably not prudent the day after the Synagogue attack to be blaming middle aged white men. Kinda proves the point Robinson is making so it's a backfire. Maybe just bad timing. But bad optics for anyone reasonable, I'd say.

Nuance is all. He did not blame middle-aged white men for the attack on the synagogue. He blamed them for creating the toxic environment we witness daily - the demonisation of people based on race and immigration status - and he was absolutely correct. People deliberately conflated the two parts of his monologue for their own convenience based on the horrific events in Cheetham Hill.

Anyway, we can derail the thread with politics all day long, but anyone shouting racial slurs in the crowd is a racist and needs banning.

Sure, i know. Just the timing was bad as it was the day after.

Yes the conditions are bad.

But the perpetrator of that particular horrific event was also pretty obvious in their name. To pretend otherwise is counter productive. Like I said, plays into the hands of Robinson and the like. Need to be able to say obvious things when they are right in front of our face if we want to have any credibility.

To think middle aged white men are responsible for muslims attacking Jews is a painfully naïve worldview and suggests a very simplistic understanding of history. Probably shouldn't be looking to footballers to be our moral guardians anyway.

Point of order. Calling Neville out as being a wanker does not automatically mean you are a racist or support Farage / Robinson et al.

Neville is a self-aggrandising, self absorbed wanker who isn’t half as intelligent as he thinks he is - as we saw with his decision to take a job with Bein Sports at the Qatar World Cup and claim he was doing so to highlight human rights issues.
