either or id be delighted withGood player but I’d be going all in for either neves at psg or tonali at toon .
I watched him closely for a couple of years now. He is an excellent player skilful, tough but he work attitude is top class. We should be all over him!!both Anderson and Wharton can plan the 6/8 role very well and I do like the idea of having lots of midfield cover. A midfield of Rodri, Wharton and Anderson or just 2 of the 3 would exert great control, energy and the ability to break through lines. I like it
Have you watched the two of them play?Ffs please please no just another kelvin Phillips let the rags spend £80m on him then we can laugh at them.
That’s what they said about PhilipsHave you watched the two of them play?
Yes I watched Anderson run around like a headless chicken against national league teams same as Phillips did and all of a sudden he's this unbelievable talent he's bang average at best a proper rags signing.Have you watched the two of them play?
Surprised at this, think Anderson was great for Forest last season and has stepped up for England. Think Wharton might suit us better but would be happy with eitherYes I watched Anderson run around like a headless chicken against national league teams same as Phillips did and all of a sudden he's this unbelievable talent he's bang average at best a proper rags signing.
When I look at the 2 players I see something in Wharton that I think pep could work with so calm and composed on the ball starts moves with really good clever passes 1 on 2 touch. Imo he's a totally different level to AndersonSurprised at this, think Anderson was great for Forest last season and has stepped up for England. Maybe they should have put in a buy back clause.I think he’ll end up back at Newcastle. It’s ridiculous that they had to sell him
Let's hope so.But equally, Rodri's the sort of player that could easily be playing into his mid 30s at the highest level.
They let him go because they were better back then, but now he’d definitely get into their midfield ahead of joelintonGetting overhyped now cause he's English.
Newcastle let him go because Tonali and Bruno are better (I know they had to make sales, but still)
Newcastle always struggle when Joe Linton is out injured. They let him go because they were better back then, but now he’d definitely get into their midfield ahead of joelinton
Replacing Bernardo with either of these would be a significant downgrade. Bernardo Silva ran us ragged when we played Monaco, and was an unbelievably good player when we signed him. They would possibly represent an upgrade on current Bernardo, but they are not close to his levels when he was at his best. We need to replace prime Bernardo, not current Bernardo.Anderson and Wharton to replace Bernie and Kova in a years time makes alot of sense to me.
We also have to be weary next season with Rodri as we are seeing he isnt able to come back for a long enough period of time yet, and he turns 30 this season, so next season reinforcing this spot with those 2 outgoing and not relying on Rodri makes alot of sense to me.
