What I want is for us to finish top.
If that means rags beating Liverpool, I'm ok with that, as a one off.
Both of then can't lose.

The rags are a poor team and won't be anywhere near the top 4 but liverpool will.
Exactly. Time to hold your nose and hope for what's best for you, just like occasionally I have to hope Sp*rs win.

United will be back to losing to mid and lower table teams soon. This was their big cup final - and let's not forget- they played shit. Just back to the wall defending.
Exactly. Didn't they beat you last season but still finished 15th? Take the positives - Dippers lose, Amorim stays in role for longer, it's a good day with Spuds losing as well.

Wanted Utd to get fuck all BUT its funny as fuck seeing all the hysterics from Liverpool fans ha

Kept sky on inadvertently whilst clearing up and happened to come back in to see the F1 coverage. What the fuck are they doing with it? Its like a reality telly show

Can’t believe that Blues on here actually wanted that result!
Be careful what you wish for…
Cant believe you wouldnt want that result. The only reason I can think of for not wanting that would be if you fear united catching us or you have zero faith in our ability to finish above liverpool.

Sorry pal, can’t take a degree of comfort from that shower of shit winning anything.
The ideal result would have been a draw!
Now for a week long wankfest in the media…enjoy!

Not sure why Arsenal are favourites. We have arguably the best goalkeeper in the world, the best midfielder in the world and the best striker in the world. Plus a squad chock full of top class players.
We have more points than anyone in 2025. I see no reason why Arsenal should be favourites.
Arsenal looks like the best unit so far as a team and underlying stats confirms the eye test, Arsenal have been building togetherness, patterns of play for years - thats why in short.

We were one of the best teams ever but at the moment we are going going thorugh the rebuild so its hard to really tell what our chances are PLUS:
- Rodri is not fit yet and according to Pep he might not be actually 100% until next season,
- football at the highest level is not about Galacticos teams (best GK, best ST, best LW etc.) but much more, you count everything therein coherency, bounds etc.

Thats being said Im sure we have our chances and im really enjoying this season so far.

We’re getting good results, and many players clearly have plenty of room for much better performances and stats (Reijnders, Doku, Bobb, Savio). Cherki and Aït-Nouri haven’t even really played yet, and they seem to have a great potential. A number of players are slowly coming back from injury – Stones, Marmoush, Rodri. And even at 70%, Rodri is still better than most.

Just to be clear – we can win the Premier League, we can have a great season even without winning it, but as of now Arsenal are the favorites. And its good for us as well. All the pressure on Arsenal.

Injuries will happen and change the dynamic.

Imagine Raya being out for any length of time. It’d be Kepa time then…

all things could happen but at the moment it it what it is.

I agree on thesis that we see pretty much a ceiling of Arsenal, maybe a bit more chances and goals in terms of Gyokeres effectiveness or coming back of Odegard or Madueke would make them a bit better. But I believe we have a a higher ceiling and if only all the boxes clicks (like lets say Rodri back to his best or thereabout)!

Or, maybe, incredibly poor from players faking injuries, week in and week out, to gain an advantage?
That's the point I was trying to make, McAllister clearly got a blow to the head today and the ref waved play on, Yet they blow up straight away when players are faking injury.

That decision today didn't make sense.

I've said ages ago, It's something in football that has to be looked into anyway as it's top easy for players to fake injury to waste time by just going down holding their head.

The one today was obvious and very poor from the referee.
