I wanted a draw as I never want to see United win, but ultimately if it benefits us then great.

There was people genuinely wanting a Liverpool win against United in them tight runs we had with Liverpool, I think United got a draw once or twice at Old Trafford against them, if the fans got their wish of a Liverpool win it would have cost us the title! Mental behaviour.

Another referee might have given that penalty for Amad's handball (we've all seen them given and you could sense the panic on his face)) and it wouldn't have been overruled by VAR as it wouldn't have been an obvious error.

Also, rightly or wrongly, 9 out of 10 referees would have stopped the game for MacAllister's head injury.

However, there was a 20 minute spell in the First Half when Mbueno was unplayable and they were looking good for a 2nd goal.

Their defence still looks shaky. but they're looking more of a goal thread, and as much as I dislike him, that was a fantastic assist by Fernandes

Please dont get suckered in ............they turn up a few times a season and revert back to there normal bog standard selves ...............Liverpool on another day would have easily put 5 past them lets not forget that ............ .they are knowhere near but the rag media and the rag fanbase will have the world believing that somehow this is the dawn of a new era ............like the clowns have done for the last 12 or so years.
How many times over the last 12 years have we had to put up with this narrative of them being back only for it to collapse again ????

BBC reporting how the tactical genius that is Amorin hoodwinked the naïve slot by his attackers targeting Liverpool's defence.

I'll be honest and say I took delight in their win. Hilarious to watch Liverpool get exposed as the shit side they are this season and Slot a bitter loser, and what better side to do it than a side as shite as United.

We all knew how that would pan out as game, United would sit in two banks of five and Liverpool had to go and break them down. They dragged Liverpool down to their level and mugged them, they tried it with City in September and ended up getting smashed.

Sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn’t, they’ve been feeding off crumbs of comfort like this since 2013. This suddenly doesn’t turn them into contenders.

The scouse complained about Palace playing the long ball against them too when they got beaten. It's like the scouse play football like prime Ajax rather than a well paid Wimbledon.

Exactly. It's how united manage to have a half decent record against all the top sides in the league, their park the bus hoofball and game raising attitude gets them results when playing against sides who actually have attacking intent.

They struggle when they come up against all the other ambitionless cannon fodder teams in the league who are just as content to park the bus as united are.

I think you may find that majority of these cannon fodder teams will actually have a go at them.
I mean i aint calling these team cannon fodder but it seems that all these teams that good old United should be beating have caused them problems
Fulham 1-1
Grimsby 2-2
Burnley won 3-2 but late on
Brentford lost 3-1
Sunderland won 2-0

Now out of that lot it would seem that only Sunderland didnt cause them issues ............ i think only a handfull of teams will sit back and hope they may nick something the rest will go after them :)
Yesterday was a great result but lets get it right had Liverpool taken there chances we could have been talking a right hammering here.

United, for once, looked like a normal organised Premier League team. Which is the least you should be able to expect, but it’s a one off for them

Sesko isn’t up to it yet - they should have spent that money on another position

Indeed

City always come first. If a rag win somewhere helps us win a title then that's all that matters. Not that I'd be cheering them on either, but I'd never rather see them lose it if diminishes our chance of success by doing so.

I don't get the mentality of some city fans that seemingly have a bigger dislike for United than love for city. If feels a bit small time, which is stupid when we're far better than them and have been for going on two decades.
