You appear to have watched less than that!I've only watched about 10 minutes, we looked hopeless sadly.
Switched on at about 84 minutes, don't think we had a decent effort on goal, didn't once bother the keeper anyway, and we constantly gave the ball away. You appear to have watched less than that!
Fair point, feels like Mukasa and Justin are two 10s and a box to box proper number 8 is needed. The very unsung Jayden Heskey would make a huge difference but unfortunately not eligible for this age group. Gray, Heskey, Mukasa could be a good balance for the u21s going forward, but not sure how Ben solves the problem with available players in this group. Wingers are super talented but need to learn 1v4 is stacked against them so keep the ball and choose your moments, and if you do lose it chasing back is non negotiableDefinitely not impossible to comeback here but we need to cut out mistakes.
I've put a direct line between the team to highlight something I feel has been a weakness for the EDS and u18s this season...

Does anybody else feel that the team is too heavily focused on attack that it actually lacks a proper balance, we seem to keep deploying a front 5 almost and although it has worked in games I feel it leaves us vulnerable and is a big reason for our defeats at youth level, if you put someone like Miles or Fapetu alongside Gray then surely we've got more control of our midfield while protecting our defence.
It's just an observation but it feels like one of Oboavwoduo or Sangare shouldn't be playing here, the team is already heavily stacked of pure attacking talent and there's no need to do this it needs more balance.
It's like the first team not having a Kovacic or Gundogan type next to Rodri in previous years, we're trying to do too much with attacking players for me it's too gung ho, maybe I'm overthinking it a bit but I've even thought it before some of our other games have even kicked off.
Floyd Samba looks a good fit for the Jaden Heskey slot. Very impressive so far.Fair point, feels like Mukasa and Justin are two 10s and a box to box proper number 8 is needed.
