We underestimate them at our perilVillarreal must be useless if that team selection is deemed sufficient to win here.

It'll be a masterclass if we win for sureWin, lose or draw, I think this is a stupid selection :(
Surprised at you being negativeVillarreal must be useless if that team selection is deemed sufficient to win here.
Hail GazBazDe Jong making that list ahead of Barry is criminal
Coz you can make dumb decisions and still win.How is it a stupid selection if we win?
Not to mention Samir, Gundo, Milner, peak Bernie, Viera and Hargreaves, Delph, Lampard and David Pizzaro was pretty good too. Lets see how the current crop develop though. Some of them are very young. When you think we used to have Yaya, De Jong, David Silva, Fernandinho, Gundogan, De Bruyne and Rodri to call on for midfield duties - the current crop are definitely a downgrade.
You should apply for the job when Pep goes. You clearly know your onions more than most.Coz you can make dumb decisions and still win.
GVardiol at Left back is dumb. He is the future at CB. Stop moving to make space for older giys who aren't the future.
The midfield lacks continuity. Love Lewis personally, but if ypu are going toake changes to midfield. It should have been just one..either he or Captain. Shouldn't be both.
Attack was left unchanged and that's good.
Overall, unnecessary tinkering again :(
What gamble is that?Hope this gamble pays off. Looks to me to be lacking any creativity with Foden and Cherki not starting.
If neither O'Reilly or Aït-Nouri are fit enough to start, who else would you play there?GVardiol at Left back is dumb. He is the future at CB. Stop moving to make space for older giys who aren't the future.
surprised Joey didn't get a mention there ;-)Not to mention Samir, Gundo, Milner, peak Bernie, Viera and Hargreaves, Delph, Lampard and David Pizzaro was pretty good too. Lets see how the current crop develop though. Some of them are very young.
I think thats exactly why hes playing there. Makes senseIf neither O'Reilly or Aït-Nouri are fit enough to start, who else would you play there?
I look at that lineup and it comes across to me that we are resting players / rotating players against at the expense of our best creative team. What gamble is that?
Would you agree Pep picks the team based on what he thinks is best for the opposition, tactics and players training performances?I look at that lineup and it comes across to me that we are resting players / rotating players against at the expense of our best creative team.
The gamble being that we risk a loss this evening with a slightly worse team, in order to have fresher players at the weekend.
It's only my opinion of course.
