Kick off time time 14:00 (GMT). On Sky Sports.

Tough game as they've started to get their shit together. They've won 5 straight in all competitions, 2 of those were Europa League games. That might be the 1 advantage we have on them, they play in the Netherlands on Thursday, so hopefully that's a tough slog for them.

Not won at Villa Park since 2021, 2-1 loss last season, 1-0 loss the season before and 1-1 draw in the treble season.

Got to hope Gonzalez is okay, I thought we lost control in the 2nd half v Villarreal without him.

-----------Donnarumma
Nunes---Dias---????---O'Reilly
----------------Gonzalez
-------Reijnders----Foden
????----------Haaland-------????

I think those 8 are a given.
- Doku should be a given but he did struggle tonight.
- Unsure who plays on the right. I'd probably push Foden or Reijnders out there and play Bernardo central.
- I would have said Gvardiol centre half but he was poor in moments tonight, albeit at left back.

Start of a season defining run of league games in my opinion:
- Villa (A)
- Bournemouth (H)
- Liverpool (H)
- Newcastle (A)
We'll learn a lot in these 4.

Donnaruma

Nunes
Dias
Gvardiol
Ait Nouri

OReilly
Rejinders
Foden

Cherki
Savinho
Haaland

Anyone received their ticket for this yet? When will City send these out?!?

Last seasons showing here was a disgrace. New team now I expect is to deliver.

Donnarumma; Nunes Stones Dias Gvardiol; Nico G Kovacic Reijnders; Doku Haaland Foden

Would like to see:

Donnarumma
Nunes Dias Gvardiol O'Reilly
Foden, Gonzalez, Bernardo
Cherki, Haaland, Doku

Or Reijnders for Cherki and Foden out wide.

On a bit of a roll now and they seem to have found a bit of form.

Although we couldn't get a third last night we're moving towards 'proper City's and are already 9 unbeaten in all comps in almost a blink of an eye.

Can't see anything other than 3 points for us.

Big test this.
Not an easy ground to go to and grab 3 points but the improvement in performance, particularly defensively, makes me optimistic for Sunday.
Come on you blue boys.

Agree this game and our next 2 will tell us a lot about us! Also we haven’t gone behind first yet I want to see how we respond if we do.. a draw is a decent result but the way Arsenal are playing and to win the league we have to win..
