Kelly Dalgliesh and Gomersall on Sky sports have used the word about us on there too. It’s an obvious “tell” that I really find myself noticing now every time it’s used in relation to us as a team, or one of our players (usually Haaland).

They all need sacking. That whole bbc football outfit. As a club I’d love to see us logging all this and pressurising for some contracts not to be renewed over there at Media City.

If they deny it’s bias, then the same outcome should still happen, on the grounds of continued incompetence.

Let's be honest all these so called pundits and former players think City have no chance of doing anything this year because that suits their agenda against us and wanting their team to be successful (which I get to an extent) but none of them realise our team is going under the radar and they are going to surprise a lot of them on how good this team is becoming

I won't be surprised with them saying "It's not fair" and "How cam we compet?" etc and etc

Doubt this team at your peril

Normally the media use the result to create the narrative for example…..

Rags beat Dippers - Rags turned the corner & Dippers in disarray despite them having 19 shots & hitting the woodwork 4 times. However when City win & a clean sheet, what will we do without Haaland & we were lucky not to concede.

On ESPN they spoke about us for about a minute & said we shouldn’t consider our 3rd consecutive clean sheet as a sign of improvement as Everton had the better chances against us. Something that wasn’t mentioned against Arsenal, that game was defined by possession stats.

The confirmation bias stops them seeing what’s happening. We are unbeaten in 9, scoring 20 & conceding 4 & building momentum.

City's Spanish stroll.

Now I'm not dissing two good results for Arsenal and Newcastle, but I'd expect them both to win.
Villareal are 3rd (yes 3rd in La Liga!) one place above the much lauded Atletico. Their last home defeat was to Real in March and they are a strong side. Not fashionable, but a really good side.

I was delighted with the 3 points. But, hey, Merse and the tabloids told me it was only Villareal!!!!

What game were they watching, beto had one good chance haaland had about 5 decent chances and 2 one on ones, they just lie through their teeth to create a narrative as you said.
 
Large swathes of the media desperately want us to lose and fail,they’ll be clinging onto the hope we are found guilty when the 115 result drops,I honestly think some of them won’t be able to cope after it’s announced and I don’t mean the usual suspects..
