They looked abysmal.

I don't think any of the PL bottom 3 will be as hopeless as them vs Liverpool this year. Infact, Burnley only lost 1-0 at home to Liverpool to a dodgy last min pen whilst they had 10 men, and Burnley are considered the worst team in the league on paper.

Yeah, Some Spurs fans on Twitter already calling for Frank's head for playing boring football lol, just pisses me off that we gifted them 3 points yet again.

I know. But we knew we would struggle in the first few games given no pre-season. Btw that reality has been airbrushed into history in the media. I am confident we will put her back into their holes in the reverse fixture where we have done well of late.

I firmly believe had we had a normal pre season, the Spurs and Brighton results would have never happened.

Spurs was our 3rd game of the season if you include pre season games, City was Spurs' 9th game of the season. They were fitter and sharper and it showed.

Brighton was the same, they were our 4th game, we were something like their 11th.

In the first half we offered them up their lowest number of shots on goal at home for over 10 years, but we collapsed after 60 mins because our fitness couldn't keep up.

I agree about Brighton but I'm not sure about Spuds, twats have managed to beat us so many times when they had no right to do so, we just regularly shit the bad against them for whatever reason.

Yes but look back over the years we have lost to spurs .as annoying as it is .what have that won.
What have we won
And this season.
What will they win....
Nothing.
What will we win.

Who knows but the way we are winning games in the last few weeks has a treble feel about it to me.
And haaland is back to he was in his first season.

It's not about them, it's about 3 points that could be crucial at the end.
 
The Bundesliga outside of Bayern and La Liga outside of the big 2 really are very poor at the moment.

Serie A, good grief, as bad as I have ever seen it quality wise.
 
Early days but looking promising for all 6 PL clubs to get through

UEFA won’t like that so will try to screw over one or two English clubs

Did you not remember the past year where a god awful 15th placed Man United beat 5th place Bilbao 7-1 on aggregate?

Or a 17th placed crap Spurs winning it?

Arsenal (2nd) beat Real Madrid (2nd) 5-1 on aggregate with 4-5 main starters out injured.
Chelsea (4th placed) won 4-1 vs Betis (6th La Liga) in the Conference Final
Chelsea (4th placed) won 3-0 vs PSG (1st Ligue 1) in World Club cup Final

In fact, PSG's (the massive outlier) only tough games in 2025 were against English teams in Europe.
