looking who plays at Echeverri‘s position in Leverkusen it doesn’t surprise me that he is not getting any game time. Even Ben Seghir sat on the bench
 
Can anyone explain to me how our current wingers are better than jack ? . He would be giving us control in games and we need to get him back next summer as big fuck up letting him go .

He simply wasted 3 years and relieves non of the offensive burden. His time has come and gone. His role was clear for all to see with a football brain. But we simply don’t need a defensive winger to allow De Bruyne a free role.

If we’re going to keep playing against parked busses and he’s pinned on the touch line, he isn’t gonna do much. Same for all our wingers except for Doku who’s managed to find spaces in the channel and gets the benefit of an overlapping left back pulling a defender away. We’ve hardly had control because we’ve been playing with essentially two 10s each game and we’re getting overrun in the second halves of games. Playing 2 of Rodri, Nico and Kovacic would give us more control than just swapping in one winger.

No one said that our current wingers are but they certainly were last season.
I'm assuming that if he was putting performances in last season like he is doing now art Everton he would still be here.
You know that as much as anyone.
 
Apparently, Reis was excellent vs Barcelona, Girona lost the game in the last minutes. No Barca player could dribble past him.

Akanji has been very good at Inter, they have won the last 6 games in all competitions and are top of the league.

Wild that it could be argued we have 3 of the top 10 CBs U23 in the world alongside Gvardiol and Khusanov
 
We have some great Cb talents Allenye doing well at Watford, Bah being just a beast, Mfuni looks outstanding. Still, I think Reis is going to be the best. He will be our new leader at the back.

He is not on the panel they submitted for the European matches.

I watched him in Lisbon last season, he looked European Ready to me :0)

He was our best defender in a bad performance, and put a shift in for the team!!

I couldn’t say that for everyone that night!!! :0(
