Carragher saying this PL season won't be hard fought or valuable because Liverpool are off it, City are a one man team and Arsenal are Set Piece FC. Disrespectful prick - pretty sure City and Arsenal will go at it hammer and tongs and the winner will feel a real sense of achievement. Pretty sure Haaland isn't taking goal kicks and running up the pitch by himself to score - people are passing him into position and he's the end point of a move involving many players. And being good at Set Pieces is a massive weapon that involves hours of dedication on the training pitch.
Honestly your life will improve ten fold if you stop listening to Carragher and Merson. There opinions count for nothing and there football knowledge is embarrassing.

The first goal on Tuesday was as good a team goal as you could imagine.

Rico's link-up between Sav and Erling was brilliant, not to mention those, who contributed earlier in the move. Håland couldn’t have done all that by himself.
They can't make up their mind. Last season he was a tap on merchant

Carragher's comments are essentially correct as you go on to indirectly acknowledge. To become really strong sides both sides have to add strings to their bow. Pep said similar in the aftermath of City's game against Everton. The decline of the Champions does weaken competition.

I expect Liverpool will beat Brentford because Brentford are a long ball side and Van Dijk and Konate eat high balls for breakfast. The style of player that will give Liverpool problems is someone like Antoine Semenyo. Liverpool's defence is their weak point but they are still strong in the air.

I'm thinking that because Van Dick isn't up to speed Brentford may exploit his weakness now and dip their bread, this is a tough one it could end up bad for Slot and his bedraggled army of one on the trot losers ;-)

This season's Arsenal is better than last season's Liverpool and I suspect this season's City are in that bracket too.

I agree. I don't really understand @Marvin comments re Carragher.
The dippers won it last year, not because they were brilliant but because no one put a challenge in. It's only a few matches in so your comments may come back to bite you on the bum but if they do you can point at me and say 'well he agreed with me'
Carragher seems to be saying that because Liverpool have lost a few the leagues shit.
It isn't.

I had this out a long time ago with a couple of sound engineers who were dipper fans. They asked me why I hate their club so much and shouldn't I hate the rags more being a Blue? I told them the big difference is that I don't hate the dippers as a football club, but I detest their fanbase for it's violence and mob-rule attitude, I detest their 'always the victims' persona and the way they can be offended by any criticism aimed at the club and yet are quite happy to cheer when an opposing player gets injured and stretchered off. The fact they have gotten away with the destruction of one of our team coaches, the apparent protection of the scumbag who threw a bottle of coins at some poor kid during a game: and all of this without a single mention of the more well-known acts of violence they have inflicted upon society over the years.
So yes, as a City fan I fucking hate everything about the rags with a passion - but I can honestly say I've never had any serious problems with rag fans over the years. But I cannot in all sincerity say the same about dipper fans: they are without any doubt whatsoever the worst that I personally have ever encountered in my entire life.

Any genuine dipper fans lurking (I would imagine there are more than just a few decent supporters who enjoy the games and the banter), I have nothing but respect for you. You have been tarred with the same brush as those low-life thugs and murderers who claim to follow the club, but in reality are only interested in attacking innocent people and causing as much bloodshed and mindless violence as they can. You've probably (unknowingly) stood in the Kop, shoulder to shoulder with some of them many times before, not realising that these are the savages with blood on their hands that have caused so much ill-feeling to you and yours from fans of other clubs across the globe.
Littlewoods' inability, or refusal, to admit its fanbase's responsibility for the deaths of 39 people at Heysel will never give the club a free pass from me.

Excuse me if I'm wrong because I'm not watching, but was that 6 minutes extra time when only 3 was shown on the board?
TBF Brentford scored on 45 mins, took a minute to celebrate and were taking ages on the long throws in injury time.
