We havnt had a world class midfield since Yaya, Fern and silva.

Rodri and Kev ran it close.
 
Wide players poor. Sav slightly better than Bobb who with his performances so far this season is lucky to be on the pitch. Sav has no variety in his crosses at all..he just seems to clip them all in...Im not expecting KDB whipped balls but he could at least try something different

Foden the only one looking to create

And the only reason Reijnders is on the pitch at present is we have no other option...no doubt he is a very good player but he is offering less and less as he goes on in the prem games at least...he doesnt defend very well and he isnt creating anything.

Gvardiol was incredibly sloppy in that half at times as well.

Not sure there is much we can change having said all of that.....Nico clearly aint fit enough and I think Cherki wont be up to speed as it would be a difficult game to come into....

Our wide players are pretty pointless at present however.

Yeah I don't love savinho but I'd be having bobb off before him.

First change I'd make would be Ake or O'Reilly for reinders if foden is ok and put stones in the 6 proper rather than CB stepping in. Bernardo looks decent. Foden not been great but credit in the bank over reinders. If foden is hurt then put reijnders in the 10 and move stones to 6 proper.

Doubt pep changes at half time though.

They’re never reversing a corner decision because it was offside, through VAR. It has to be called on field
 
That was worse than anything we produced last season.

All on Pep too. Awful setup. Reijnders has been here 5 months and I genuinely do not think I've seen him make a tackle in that entire time, so what the fuck has he seen from him in training to think playing him as the 6 is a good idea?

Bernardo Silva is the only player in our entire 5 man midfield who will make a challenge yet we've got him chasing defenders pointlessly, why isnt he in the pivot controlling the game?

We've got a front 5 that just run forward at half speed towards their backline, 1 simple pass see's them running out our back 4 exactly how it was when we were getting pumped by everybody we faced last season.

Get nico/kovacic on for reijnders, drop bernardo alongside him and get doku on for savinho and we might salvage something. I'll lose all hope if he sends that same side back out for the second half. Pep cannot watch that and not think a drastic change is needed right then.
 
I really don’t get why Stones is always back in our starting XI. We always concede with him but don’t without him. Isn’t it obvious at this point?

Nunes - Dias - Gvardiol - Reilly should be consistent at this point

From what I have seen of him so far yes I think he would have an impact on the game. He's always looking for the ball and to make a forward pass. He's also much stronger on the ball than foden bobb savinho and reijnders
 
I'd hope that O'Reilly is able to actually get some minutes - stick Josko at CB and Stones in midfield for Reijnders
