Premier League Games | 24/25/26 Oct '25

That’s a good thing. Throw-ins should have a countdown clock of 10 or 15 seconds. Some are taking as long as 40 seconds this season, the game is increasingly becoming just a load of blokes stood still on a strip of grass.
Are you describing the Chelsea players during Sunderland's winner yesterday ? They took so long to get back the Sunderland centre forward could have had a cup of tea .

If Arsenal win the league then they either have to revoke their "everyone underperformed" comments they threw at Liverpool last season, or they too have say this title was a gimme. Look at the table. What sits between them and their expected title rivals (City and Liverpool) is a regular mid - bottom half table team, a newly promoted team, and a utd team thats been abysmal for 12 years. So surely thats worse than last season? Or will Arsenal fans suddenly be labelled this season as an exciting "improved quality from the smaller teams season, as well as Arsenal have been brilliant" type of season?

If last year was a gimme for Liverpool, then surely its currently looking that way for Arsenal this seaon? At least Liverpool were 2nd sandwiched between city and arsenal game week 9 last season. Arsenal has a fresh out of the championship team as a closer contender.

Have to say Arsenal defence is now Mourinho Chelsea defense strong plus their goals from set pieces make them very formidable. A perfect recipe for a title win.
Plus they have enough in Gyokores Eze Saka and Odegard to score open play goals too.

Yeah exactly. My father always made me shoot with my left despite being right footed so I would actually not always refuse to shoot with my weaker foot. Obviously getting it to pro level is harder but still. This are pros in training and they most likely don’t even use that foot there. Players like KDB, Dembele, Pedro, Cazorla always amaze me
Honestly I dont think I've seen a player as comfortable on both feet as Cazorla. He'd regularly use both feet to take corners and free kicks and even he said he doesnt really have a weak foot. There was a reason he was so difficult to get the ball from.

They should play to a hooter .. when the ball is dead the clock stops.. no input from the Ref.. It’s not rocket science but that wouldn’t allow them to try and manipulate outcomes
Problem is that if they start doing that we're going to end up like the NFL where every stop of the clock results in an advert for McDonalds or some sort of medicine with a long list of side effects and a message to ask your dr if its right for you.

Was a very tough match for us today. Palace are very well coached and whilst we never looked like conceding a goal we struggled to get through them and it took a superb acrobatic strike from Eze to get the win.

We'd have drawn or lost that last season.

Injuries for Rice and Saliba though - hopefully nothing major.

Anything stop the corruption with ~115 minutes played instead of ~97 would do me

We got 6 minutes of time added on and the whistle had gone before 97 minutes
