I need persuading as to your sincerity…We were unlucky.
Better?
I think we'll see another 3 or 4 of today's showings this season.Think we’re doing what teams that finish fourth or fifth habitually do, which is throw in too many wank performances.
I do think we’ll be much better in the new year. And can’t be entirely discounted to win the league. But think it’s unlikely.
And I think we’ll be a real force again next season.
Maybe it’s Arsenal’s turn.
God help us all!
Deffo. Think we’ll have some top days too. We already have. Especially in Europe.I think we'll see another 3 or 4 of today's showings this season.
At our other bogey clubs no doubtI think we'll see another 3 or 4 of today's showings this season.
Not sure I’d classify Villa as a bogey club just yet. Prior to a couple of years ago, it was our best away ground in the PL era iirc. We’ve had some great days there. Both before and after 1st September 2008.At our other bogey clubs no doubt
Yes, they'll be some crackers.Deffo. Think we’ll have some top days too. We already have. Especially in Europe.
Only if teams could defend corners against them (including us)Arsenal will win it as I always thought they would. Their defence is incredible.
thanks for making my weekend even worse because that’s a reality check right there.we need to visit bogey places like Anfield, Spurs, Palace stadiums, and some harder fixtures like Bournemouth, Chelsea, Newcastle away etc.
sadly cannot see us getting much in these if they up their speed and physicality which we cannot match more often than not.
before another int. break we have City-Bournemouth, City-Liverpool, Bournemouth is flying high despite their losing their whole defence Iraola still managing to get them play well and get results. they will test us at Etihad.
then Liverpool who are in a deep shit form, lost even to rags at home, surely we cannot allow them to do us at our own pitch.
we lost both fixtures last year tho.
my issue is I dont think there is another level in likes of Doku, Savinho, Bernardo, and running out of patience on Foden too. if these start most games and dont deliver week in week out, thats a big issue. add in Reijnders, who aint really pulling up trees apart from his very first game, and Marmoush, Cherki needs to play regularly as they will not be able to show their best in rotational role.
will we even score a goal in next 5 games if Haaland would get injured or he fires blank in all? not sure.
