I’m not sure he’ll ever hit City class level, certainly doesn’t deserve a place in the team at the minute.Don’t think he will ever hit world class level

Don’t think he will ever hit world class level
Whilst he was out injured many on here talked him up more and more each week.Didn’t someone on here claim he was as good as yamal at Barca ?

Forget world class level. Is he going to hit premier league level? He looked miles off today

I see what you did there! He's got a lot to do to turn the tide for him, if he doesn't he can sud off.
I think he would do well for a west ham or similar club mate but he’s not good enough for us. This happens with quite a few of our younger players? They get hyped to death yet end up not making it at our level. It’s why it’s turning to shite constantly as the players just aren’t on the level required? Savinho won’t make it either

Yea the overhyping of him was mental. The pressure on him was always going to be ridiculous.Whilst he was out injured many on here talked him up more and more each week.

Oscar comes across as such a nice, determined, intelligent lad, but he is so overhyped. He actually does have 1 assist, but it doesn't change the fact his stats are awful. Yes, he is technically superb and sometimes a joy to watch, but moments of brilliance do not justify starting him. Let's not pretend like he is in the same league like some of the players left on the bench such as Doku, Cherki, or Marmoush. The three of them have proved much more in their careers. The likes of Oscar...scored that one great goal at Newcastle? Honestly, I can't think of much else worth mentioning. The boy is 22, if he doesn't step it up massively, we should consider moving him on come the end of the season. He will be 23 then, make it or break it. I think he can have a great career at a club like Villa, for example. Still, very high-level, European football, etc. I just don't know if he will make it with us.16 games without a goal or an assist (club and country)
