Both teams were poor. Villa created nothing apart from a couple of set pieces. The quality of football from both sides was very low with relentless misplaced passes.
I said the same to my dad this morning. Was poor all round. Thought the goal was a good finish but the commentators went on like it was the greatest goal of all time

Didn't milner get a rating out of ten one week when he either wasn't in the squad or was on the bench and didn't come on?
I'm sure that happened, maybe someone could correct me.
There was a newspaper report that City fans unsportingly booed him in a game against Liverpool at the Etihad. Which was quite shocking at the time as he wasn't even playing and if my memory is correct, wasn't even there.

Wasn't it a testimonial. But you're right, he pulled out of it in the days before and was nowhere near the stadium

What is it with Mills, Hinchcliffe and Richards that they have such a dislike for the club? Is it that they are prepared just to toe the line for the money?
Don’t forget Stuart Pearce in that list.

I just don’t get Hinchcliffe at all. Surely somebody at Sky must be looking at feedback he gets - not just from City but everybody.

Spends every game criticising everything. The time when he was explaining what Haaland should have done to score yesterday was the moment he jumped the shark.

The Express. The infamous Charlie Clitlicker if memory serves………

Normally the scouse and rags run BBC opinions, you'd have thought that even if the scouse were shit they'd get 7 out of 10 scores.
The whole of the BBC? Wow, are they reform or Labour? Where do they stand on the license fee? Odd though because my brother in law rag is convinced the BBC hate them.

Probably because when they played for City, the club hadn't begun to dominate the Premier League ?
Perhaps they think they missed out on the glory and a bigger wage ?
Mills, particularly, seems a bitter beggar...

It's like the game yesterday, Townsend had decided that Cash was going to be MOTM before the game. As it happens he was probably right, but they all do it, every game.

Richards was here when we won 2 league titles, granted it wasn't in the Pep era but he saw quite a bit of success.

I listened to Talksport for 10 mins yesterday morning and noticed a clever little snide tactic by Custis on his show. I presume Henry Winter had been positive about City - which they countered with a text from a listener saying nothing City have done should be applauded - 115 - cheating etc. Custis finished by saying “City APPARENTLY claim they are innocent”

Job done for them. The ‘text’ probably written by one of the production team
I shouted plastic Geordie **** when I heard that.
