PL charge City for alleged breaches of financial rules

I think there's a chance that the sanctions hearing is taking place after the completion of the main body of the case. The parties might possibly have agreed to this even though they are supposed to be separate (say if we have only found guilty of not complying adequately with the process).

Obviously this is guesswork, but all parties might want this resolved in one hit.

Don’t let Stefan see this mate ;)

Guilty FC.

The email from Pannick says they are still waiting for the result. Don’t think there’s any guesswork required - the result just isn’t out yet.

It won’t be out if they are completing the process. Maybe it’s impossible but I’m not sure why the parties would insist on many more months or years of litigation if it can resolved / accepted in one go.

There would only he many more months or years to avoid, if we were guilty, and we both knew it.

Think both our and particularly the league's demeanour would have been very different if we had known for months there was a sanctions hearing secretly happening in the background. Not to mention it likely would have been leaked by now, particularly by the PL.

Don't see it mate.

The general consensus is 115 is of such magnitude, beyond anything ever in professional football, that the prescribed process will be followed meticulously.
So, the PL and and City will receive the draft ruling for review. This could take a few days to be reviewed and updated, the question is will it be leaked by either side during the update, we just dont know. If not, the first we will know is when joint statements are published, by us via a CLUB STATEMENT. No doubt this will trigger a tsunami of MSM and social media shite. Please God let that be the end of the process, otherwise we will have to wait for a sanction hearing, and subsequent publication. I'm guessing some pretty serious press conferences will be announced either way, that could be a global blockbuster if Khaldoon gets chance to fulfill his promise that he will have plenty to say about the real reasons behind 115. Considering all the 115 related shite we have had to endure a dignified silence would not wash with me, especially in victory.

I don’t get your presumption of guilt. Only having to fork out for being unhelpful in the face of the Prem’s heavily sloping playing field would be an emphatic victory.

There may well be no sanctions hearing yet but who said it had been going on for months. That’s something you’ve just made up. It was heavily tipped that the results of the main hearing would be communicated in October and that hasn’t happened.

Yes it might be a long shot that the sanctions hearing has started but it would be a bit silly of the parties to rule out trying to get the process completed if there was a possibility of getting this resolved in an acceptable fashion earlier.

We brought an end to the litigation in the Associated Parties cases, after all.

That’s 130 mate if we are being sticklers for details / process.

Joking apart - I would be very surprised if we haven't hired someone to investigate dodgy dealings by the red shirts.

Timeline
Day 1 - City exonerated
Day 2 - liverpool, united & arsenal corruption files leaked to a friendly newspaper.
Day 3 to infinity - laugh my balls off
Is there a friendly newspaper when it comes to City?

If there were a sanctions hearing, then there is guilt. I didn't make anything up mate, you suggested the reason for no verdict may be that they already had the main ruling and had since been conducting the danctions hearing without having announced the other. Ok you didn't say months, but the context was how long it has taken since February when Pep expected the verdict.

I don't see it myself, and I am saying as much, for reasons noted. I am not qualified to argue it, just my opinion as a lay person. Makes for an intersting theory, but really don't think is a position that needs defended so actively, nor was I attacking it thus beyond discussion of an opinion pal.

I’m just saying it’s a possibility, though unlikely.
