Yeah, we maybe did make it easy for him - he was more composed in possession than I expected. I've not seen loads of him, but he's a regular in a decent team, and is massive. We'd possibly get bullied a bit less with him in the team, and great for defending setpieces etc.

He is a big unit and could only be an advantage if his performances are consistent enough. I agree that he did look composed and calm, which I hadn't appreciated him for before yesterday.

I do remember thinking, if only we had somebody like that in our midst, when our players seemed to be struggling on so many fronts.

Watched 2 minutes of Arsenal yesterday and Zubimendi is slower than anyone who's ever played for us, even Dias. We don't need speedsters we're just miles and miles below the technical level we once were.

Livramento, Wharton, Olise...they're all young and HG and all make our squad better.

Ok, I take it you didn't watch our match yesterday for a start then....

Tbh yesterday's the first time he's really impressed me, but he just seemed to always have time and take the right options, and that's forgetting the size of him. I don't think we'd go for him (under Pep) but if I had the choice of him being available every game or Rodri being in and out the team all the time with injuries, then I'd seriously consider him.

Also need to consider how everyone is using long throws etc, and he'd be a good practical option.

Angelo Stiller might be the most similar and getable one.

I can't help but think some teams are put off buying him because of problems with Marketing...

They were all more composed in possession. Even Konsa was dribbling our press players with zero fear.

We just started with a weak team. I noticed in the 2nd half they weren't so confident.

Basically many of our issues stem from the summer we failed to sign Bellingham or Rice.

I think he is class and he looks so composed in midfield. Would have been a great signing .

Just get Olise for the right and Nico Williams for the left. Rotate Nico and Doku, sell Sav and raise some money to cover for the cost of Olise, give Bobb some more time, if it's not working then let him go.

We are becoming too attached to these projects, it's up to them to succeed and we can't force that, unplug from the sentiment machine and sell who has to be sold
