EDS match report for those who missed it...

That EDS team should be better than what the table suggests.

Either the coaching is bad or the players are not as good as they think they are.

We re quite inexperienced in vital areas, all over really, but especially CB and striker.
Not seen Finlay Gorman for a month or two. Does he have a serious injury ?

Warhurst was unlucky with his header Mukasa was unlucky with his free kick late on too, poor defending lead to being countered very easily when they won their penalty and the lads just couldn't recover after going two down.

We had the possession and the shots but the decision making was very poor at times think we made a mistake not starting one of McAidoo or Reigan Heskey, we lacked enough cutting edge despite having possession we couldn't get a break, then when we brought both of them on they resorted to desperation trying to do too much by themselves to pull us back in it not thinking clearly enough.

Blackburn did defend resolutely to their credit it's definitely a disappointing result though but it's all part of the learning process too the lads just need to dust themselves off, the league campaign has started much worse than expected and we probably won't win the league outright as a result, the lads should still have enough about them to do much better they currently are doing.
Maybe with the U17 world cup starting in about a week they wanted a chance to see how things will go for potentially all of next month.

The most worrying thing about this game was still no appearance by Dada-Mascoll. I'm afraid he might be a lost cause now. It's been over 2 seasons he's been suffering from injury. A real shame as I thought he had the potential to one day make the 1st team. The same thing happened with Rowan MacDonald who was highly rated at the time. Going back even further another highly rated prospect James Thorne. We seem to have a lot of other players struggling with injury at present such as Ezra Carrington. Matty Henderson Hall, Rhys Thomas & Luca Fletcher. There is also the little Mexican lad & the lad we got from Tottenham with a German sounding name. In the case of these last 2 the reason they haven't featured much might be more a case they didn't turn out as good as we thought they were when we first signed them.

I don’t think Henderson-Hall or Thomas are injured, we just have a big squad and there’s been no room for them so far. Willhoft-King has presumably been released as he’s no longer listed on the official site.

Luca Fletcher is on a youth loan to Ipswich, Willhoft king I think has been released and The Mexican kid I assume the same. Been some strange recruitment the last couple of years

Talking of Fletchers, one of Darren Fletcher's twin boys captained Scotland Under 18s earlier this year, whilst at the same time his other twin son captained England U18s.
