That was absolute dogshit until we scored. Improved a little after the goal.

The back 4 were atrocious. RAN and Khusanov particularly bad but Rico and Ake not much better.

Nico was decent but I wish he would get his head up a bit more.

Mukasa was largely invisible.

Cherki best player on the pitch by a country mile. Always looking for the killer pass…we will no doubt soon knock that nonsense out of him.

Marmoush is like a speedboat without a captain. It’s like someone has passed him a land mine. I wish he would just calm the fuck down.

I think Bobb might be playing for his City career here. Might sound hyperbolic but I don’t think he will keep getting away with these nothing performances.
Bobb is getting plenty of game time and isn’t doing anything with it. Big half coming up for him

Our attitude is appalling.
Too many half arsed performances with a distinct lack of concentration and work ethic.
I couldn't agree more.

Fed up saying it most weeks, constantly turning up with half arsed performances, players not willing to put a shift in, most players don't look interested, alot of walking around with nobody willing to put a tackle in.

We've a team of fannies. People don't like to hear the truth.

Very rusty performance. Not really surprising as many are making their first starts in a while and many won't have played together before.

Cherki has looked our most creative outlet but needs to be a bit more careful with his passing in our half and up his defensive effort. Doku and Bobb have had their moments but not dominated. Mukasa largely invisible and pretty much all defensive work has been left to Gonzalez who has been decent.

Khusanov and Ait Nouri verfy poor but probably due to rustiness.

Anyway, we gradually got better and if we keep it up, we should win this.

In for an operation, so watching from my hospital bed and it’s fair to say that performance hasn’t done anything to lift my spirits! Some performances to forget there from Ait-Nouri, Khusanov, Bobb and Marmoush (amongst others). Hope it’s just down to rustiness, but we need to be much better second half. Foden on at half-time as a minimum.
Hope it’s not too serious, this forum needs you!IMG_4009.jpeg

Got marginally better in the last 10 mins or so. But a hard watch prior to that.
We just look horribly disjointed. There’s no cohesion in our attacking football - no movement, no discernible patterns of play.
Mad to say it of a Pep team, but we have too many players who lack technical quality and proper footballing intelligence.
Tactics not helping.

All the best Ric.

Got better as it went on.

Think Pep just started too many players who were lacking sharpness. It hurt us for 25 mins, but Swansea stopped putting moves together eventually and we started having more of the ball.

Swansea to their credit aren't just sitting in and parking the bus, but they're looking tired already. They'll regret missing that 1-on-1, I think. We just have to turn it up a notch and we'll win.

Trafford, Ake, Gonzalez, Doku, and Cherki all playing well. Lewis and Bobb middling. Khusanov, Ait-Nouri, Marmoush, and Mukasa all struggling, probably (hopefully)
just due to lack of fitness.

Hopefully Nunes, O'Reilly, and Foden can come on and make the game safe.
