Swansea City (A) | EFL Cup | Post Match Thread

Hard fought victory, pretty tough first half where we looked a bit disjointed probably due to the number of players just back from injury.
Cherki and Marmoush looked lively and as the game went on they started to link up well. Doku kept at it and Nico had a good second half.
Our set pieces and shooting really needs some work and perhaps that's why it's always pass, pass, pass. Cherki is exciting as he's an outlier when it comes to that.

Well we managed to give the Swans a good gooosing in the end, but it was only really in the last quarter of an hour that things finally swung our way ..... terrific goal from Swansea, and another good one by Marmoush provided the entertainment, aside from Cherkis eye catching performance, but we seemed to make made hard work of it before things finally came right.

I thought the City fans did well tonight, I could hear them backing the team throughout

The Cherki show with an Omar's homage of an Aguero goal!

Where Omar fits I dunno but he's a proper goal scorer. We've missed that.

And I still stand by my assessment that Trafford is a better keeper for City. (not hate on Donna.. just think Trafford fits City's style better with his distribution and playing with his feet).

Did you miss the part of the season where we losing games and Trafford had some howlers which contributed, then the best keeper in the world come in and we looked more solid than we have for good while and had a good undefeated streak until a few days ago?

You must be out of your mind if you think Trafford had howlers!

It was Ruben's fault. He was playing Russian Roulette and it went off BANG!

Why the fuck would anyone pass to a keeper's wrong foot off a goal kick, 6 yards away from goal when the press has been owning you all game?

But ofcourse easy to blame the keeper when the fault is someone elses..
