Doku scored last night1 game, 1 goal and assist. Would take our other wingers a month to get those stats lol.
Pep needs to play him now and give him a run of games, can see Erling feasting on Cherki`s passing.
Foden spent most of that season coming in from the right. Bit of a myth that he was the 10 that seasonI’d argue foden won us the league and got player of the season playing primarily as a ten. It’s not always about assists or goals either, as foden is hugely influential either way. He’s done it for years as well
If it was about assists and goals most of the front line wouldn’t be playing either ;)
As you say cherki has to prove it consistently.
A bit dangerous to play him 96 minutes last night...Pep said his injury was 'dangerous' as in it could lead to a longer term injury. Plus he's lost a lot of weight.
I don't think he'll be starting for now. Think they'll manage his minutes until the new year.
First in a month? Cherki has scored in 2 out of his 3 games and thats not even his main function.Doku scored last night
Which Phil? If you meant Foden. I still think he is more a face on player who thrives driving into the space. He’s a little less comfortable playing in the tightest spaces.Like Phil?

sorry I don't agree. He thrives in the pockets and constantly receives the ball in the tightest of spaces (when he plays to his best form). I believe that he can be a perfect compliment to Cherki.Which Phil? If you meant Foden. I still think he is more a face on player who thrives driving into the space. He can do it but for me it’s not his strength. I think the two can compliment each other, but they’re going to need a mobile midfielder alongside them to cover their defensive deficiencies.sorry I don't agree. Carragher was an amalgamation of the salivasHe’s like an amalgamation of the Silvas.
He is a little loose with the passes 5hough. And 5hat would worry Pep.At the moment, he is probably our best option to share Foden's creative burden. Will like to see him start on the RW.
I think that is a very viable set-up for some games, although Pep (and everyone else!) seems to favor a Back 3 these days.Would love to revisit the Pellegrini 4-2-2-2 with this lineup. Obviously we'd need to play Haaland and Marmoush literally every second of every game as we only have two forwards in the entire fucking squad, but other than that...
