I went to a Friday night match against Bristol. The thing that amazed me was the huge following we took. Must have been 7,000 plus City fans there.
Wimbledon moved to MK and changed their name. MKD are the successor club even though it leaves a bad taste in the mouths of all football fans. We have never played AFCW.Never played AFC Wimbledon. What about MK DONS? Do people count them as wimbledon? Legally they are
Some very decent players in that City side.If people are too fucking thick to read properly then that’s their problem
We played Accrington in the FA Cup in 1937, as even a short look at the history section of this website shows
The information wasn’t poor at all. Just the brains of some of the people trying to read it

Ishmael Miller had a couple of decent seasons there during that run, think he was top scorer one yearMy home town team, Yeovil Town, had a few years of success in the EFL, reaching the Championship. Sadly they went straight down and it almost destroyed the club. They are in the National League under new ownership, having narrowly avoided administration or a wind-up, and out of the FA cup already. Would love them to survive and get an away game at the Etihad next season or beyond.
Pre-season, think we won 4-0 or 6-0. The announcer certainly confused the City fans when he named our sub as Kenny Carr.I thought we'd played Rochdale.......I was there with my lad and Kenny Carr made his debut:-)
Aberdare are on my list of teams to see and grounds to visit as there is some link between the current club and the one that played in the league. And they play on the original ground.Just checked - we never played Aberdare Athletic (football league 1921 - 1927).
Pretty sure we’d have smashed them as they’ve all got tiny legs.

Barnet I saw us lose 1-0 1st leg away at Underhill in league cup. Won 4-0 2nd leg Maine rdI don't think we've ever played Bromley or Barnet.
I take it, I got no petrol money as wellBarnet I saw us lose 1-0 1st leg away at Underhill in league cup. Won 4-0 2nd leg Maine rd
The highlights of the Ashton Gate game is shown at the start of the BBC video on Bell, Lee and Summerbee. What's all this nonsense about never having played Bristol City?
I can remember City drawing 2-2 with Bristol City at Maine Road in 1965. Ralph Brand scored one of his two goals for City. I also remember going to a 1-1 draw in the return match that season at Ashton Gate.
Ex Palace striker Dougie Freedman scored the winner, 1994. Horrible trip, horrible nightBarnet I saw us lose 1-0 1st leg away at Underhill in league cup. Won 4-0 2nd leg Maine rd
