Looking forward for an exciting game and a big win considering that West Ham are at the bottom of the table with zero points from 6 losses. A game like this should help with goal differential if needed at the end of the season.

Andrée Jeglertz says Grace Clinton and Rebecca Knaak could both be involved in City's WSL clash with West Ham United on Saturday...

Really great to have Knaak back in contention. And much needed given Layzell's injury.

Game is on Sky Sports Mix, not to be confused with Sky Mix (terrestiral TV).

Hmm Greenwood and Lohmann have been added to the 'disappeared' list...

On paper this should be the easiest game of the season so far, but I wonder how fresher West Ham may be if they had fewer international call-ups.

Team News

City XI: Yamashita, Casparij (C), Prior, Rose, Beney, Blindkilde Brown, Hasegawa, Ouahabi, Miedema, Fujino, Shaw.

Subs: Keating, Clinton, Coombs, Wienroither, Knaak, Thomas, Oldroyd, Burdon, Shikhshabekova

Analysis

No Alex Greenwood in the squad today due to injury. We'll get clarity from the boss after the game on that one. Gracie Prior comes in to the defence in her place.

Great news to see Grace Clinton and Rebecca Knaak back in the squad though, with both on the bench today against the Hammers.

Goodness we do need a left back if we want to really go places. Twice Leila has been stood off the pitch when she is receiving a simple pass - not great. And, she is being roasted by their wide players. This defence also looks poor against the press. Hopefully they will tire but we need to be better.

We need to get some control in midfield and then get moving forward quicker.

She has always been the weak link

Listening to the commentary this has been the best performance ever by a football club.
