It's laughable the amount of people on here with a soft spot for Scholes.

He's a grade A bastard.

Snidey, horrible **** on the pitch, All we ever listened to for decades was "Scholes likes to keep himself to himself, he doesn't like any limelight or press talk ect...

The **** hasn't been off the television since he stopped playing football, morning, noon and night he's on the fucking telly. He's a boring prick too.

And the media used to laugh off his dirty tackles, excusing him because he played for the rags under the pisscan; "He can’t tackle".

Still to this day, i wonder how Mike Dean had the balls to brandish a red card at pig ginger.

Indeed. Never minded Scholes too much compared to the rest of them. Never heard a peep out of him when he was a player and all he does as a pundit is slag the rags
He was a dirty, obnoxious bastard who, at any club that doesn't play in red, would never have played a full ninety minutes. I wish him nothing but bad luck. Horrible, horrible individual.

Trust me I hated United under Fergie kicking our team off the pitch. But I had to feel sorry for him and his family after hearing his story of his son with severe autism who is 21 and none verbal who it sounded like the whole family has struggled

I haven't listened to the story, I'm not going to listen to it either to be honest. If he does have family struggles at home that's really unfortunate and I don't like hearing stories of kids going through a tough time.

It doesn't take away the fact that Scholes is an absolute ****. He was completely fine when it came to trying to break somebody's leg most weeks.

For someone who apparently doesn't like being interviewed he's not doing a very good job of keeping himself out of the limelight...Truth be told, he fucking love attention.

Feel for the kid having bad autism it's not nice, it still won't change my mind on Scholes. Always was and always will be a red bastard.

I’ve taken great pleasure watching pig ginger almost in tears on TNT in recent years, after the rags have lost game upon game.

I am not interested in his private life and I am not interested in the fact that his son is suffering the way he is. We all of us have our crosses to bear, we suffer the slings and arrows etc, and Scholes is no exception.

In his professional life he was a vicious, almost psychotic, reckless little thug with no regard for another player's safety and career. The fact that he was lauded for it by his peers and the biased media gave him carte blanche to launch two-footed assaults on anyone who wasn't on the same side as him. SlySports in particular elevated him to a status far above the norm by employing people like Richard Keys, Martin Tyler and Andy Grey to laugh off his many attempts to maim another professional with inane comments like "Ha ha, Scholesy's back. Nice one, Paul."

For me and many others he will not be remembered as an extraordinarily gifted footballer who gave pleasure to millions of people, he will be remembered as a nasty, ill-tempered, petulant spoiled brat protected by the Premier League mafia of the Pisscan, David Gill, Howard Webb, and the acquiescence of a tabloid media fearful of upsetting the bandwagon they had created in the first place.

Wigan - Last day of PL

Should have been sent off then scored the winner for the league title.

He's a ****

That 'tackle' on zabba was as nearly as bad as Keanes on Alfie Haaland.
