Fantasy Premier League - 2025/26 | Official BlueMoon League + Cup

Done. This is what I'm going with this weekend....

Was tempted to switch Konsa for Guehi, but didn't want to tempt fate! Will probably swap Mateta for Muniz next week, and Bergvall for A.N.Other the week after.
Just noticed that Mateta is probably going to rise in price tonight. Palace play midweek, so a bit risky making an early transfer but if you need to save the 0.1m.

Not really up to £0.1m, to be honest. I've got 3.9m in the bank; Muniz (5.4m) going out would give me 9.1m of a budget. Mateta is, as of now, 7.6m. That transfer would leave me with 1.5m for next week. Bergvall (5.4m) out, A.N.Other in. Someone like Rogers, maybe. Or Bentancur, or Thiago, or Guimaraes, etc etc. But that's a decision for GW11.

11 pts on the bench, which is annoying. I would have used the BB chip, but I only had 3 fit players on the bench (Muniz injured).

If I'm reading it right, and all the scores have been updated at this stage,I've clawed back over 250k places this week, so I'm roughly back where I was at the start of the month. GWs 7 & 8 were killers; 60 & 59 pt totals dropped me over half a million places.

6 points from my front two. Sums up my shitty october. Don't think I'll be bothering next season.
hmmm....
Same. 23 points (including 3 bonus pts). My back 4, plus the keeper, got nearly two and a half times as many points as my midfield/forward 6. Looking like a final total of 61 pts (VDV with over a third of them!).
and he's back! ;-)

Funny how just one player can totally turn things around.

First red arrow in 7 weeks... think I'll put my team back out this next week and give it a go.

Not a VDV owner

Even though I thought that I hadn't had a great week, I have somehow increased in the rankings.

Top of all my private leagues and also now top in the whole of the Czech Republic. Up to 252 in the world as well.

Not a fantastic week for points (68) but I guess many others had a worse week.
The average was 46, so anyone that had 68 points had, by definition, at minimal 'a pretty good week', and I'd argue 'a great week', even if the total points you are used to isn't as high as normal.

You had 2 differentials that delivered for you in Bruno G and VDV, so well done. VDV is also on a lot of early GW now-dead teams, but it still was a differential for where you are in the overall standings that many around you likely didn't have. My red arrow had me at 8M overall for the week, which is pretty bad, but the damage didn't move me below still in 5 digit territory. I'll take it, all things considered.

252 in the world is amazing, so as much as myself and a few others here would love to catch you in the overall standings, I'm also cheering you on as well to get to the top of the world standings. I actually LOL'd when Bruno G scored that winning goal for Newcastle knowing that would be a big one for you.

I was just looking at which players will be going to AFCON in December, as I don't want more than a couple who need transferring out in advance. I know this isn't strictly FPL related but Sunderland have 9 players who are going to AFCON, that's mad. The PL fixture planners have messed up big time, because City play them when all their players will still be missing. Someone is getting sacked for not scheduling the rags and dippers fixtures during this period.

45 points for me, and I dropped from 22k to 37k. That VDV haul was the killer, otherwise I'm probably getting a very small arrow either way. As you say, I don't think he's a highly owned player in the top 100k, much less than his overall 30% ownership, or it would have been much worse.

Hope he scores an own goal and gets sent off next week. No offence PragueBlue :)

252 is crazy good. I'd be happy with 252k.

Looking like that Blank GW17 for Crystal Palace will be a tough ask now on the road:

This post has not aged well, and like the dippers dropping in form since then, that's potentially a good thing.

I remain a bit more hopeful today that Palace can pull out a gutsy road win and maybe get those of us with the chip left (assuming a lot?) a decent FH option on the first half of the season.

Sweet results all around today! ;-)

Any word on Haaland's availability for Sunday. When he was asked after the Swansea game, Pep said he didn't know. The consensus on the pre match thread is that he will be available, going by the amount of posters who's predicting he'll be in the side.

He's available to play, Rodri is also available for some minutes as well.

I triple captained him this week.
