That's the problem or solution. If you're in the vicinity of such an incident and unarmed, with little prospect of escape, as inside a train, you're fucked. Hopefully none of us ever are, but if the worst happens try and grab a fire extinguisher. There will be a few on a train, even a bus should have one. Let it off at the attacker and it can also be used as a weapon once empty. Better than nothing.

There's extreme violence on the railway every weekend.

It's goes unreported in the media because it's only the 'odd' stabbing/violent or sexual assault in a region.

I've had a gun pulled out on me by a young white kid before. It's not always the ones some people seem so keen on vilifying to satisfy their biases perpetrated by their algorithms.

It’s not really in Huntingdon, as such. It was a Newcastle to Kings Cross train and obviously Huntingdon was the first station they could stop at, once the incident occurred. Given that, it must have happened after Peterborough, as that would have been a much easier stopping place.
