I see quite a few people are predicting Gvardiol to start at left back over O'Reilly.

I'm bamboozled as to how this is justified.

O'Reilly has hardly put a foot wrong this season and would be one of our top 3 players on form. In fact we haven't lost a game when O'Reilly has started.

Whereas Gvardiol has made brain fart errors whenever he has played left back, and has openly stated he prefers playing in the centre.

For me it would be very unfair if O'Reilly doesn't get the nod at left back.
Further than that, we’ve only lost one game where O’Reilly has started both last season and this season. And that was the fa cup final where we were robbed

If he doesn’t get back soon to playing regularly to his previous standard, then I fear he never will.
Fucking hell the bluedoom online medics. He’s had a long lay off and then suffered a muscle issue, give the lad at least until Christmas before you start diagnosing his career as effectively being over

I know who i'd pick every time out of them two, and he's not Brazilian

That's fine, Foden has been playing well. Sometimes the G/A numbers are misleading. Plus, he will compete with Savinho for a starting place only if Pep decides to play Cherki at 10.

Still, both Reijnders and Foden haven't had a goal or assist in the PL/CL since Arsenal and Napoli respectively. It would be nice if that changed today.

I don't care whether Pep starts Savinho or not. Wouldn't bother me either way. He’s a good player.

A draw puts us 4th on GD so 2nd, 4th or 8th :-)

We'll be absolutely fine. We've got an excellent record against Bournemouth and beat them easily 6 months ago. We've only ever dropped pts once and that was last season during our 1 win in 13 games at the Vitality stadium a game in which we also led.

Played 16 Won 15 Drawn 0 Lost 1 GF 51 GA 10

Probably jinxed us now lol but I'm going for a 3/4-1 City win.

Donnarumma

Stones Dias Gvardiol O'Reily

Gonzalez Reijnders

Foden Cherki Doku

Haaland

With pretty much a full squad to pick from I'd go with this with Rodri hopefully getting half hour.

Come on City
Well said, and for all the good work Bournemouth have done they have only won 1 out of 4 away, and that was at spurs who aren’t exactly flying at home

I would take a point today. Need to up our game as walking football returned last week. Hopefully Sav isn’t starting again.

take a point out of this game and Liverpool?? title chances are far gone by that time. Beating Bournemouth seems to be easier than Liverpool, no matter what the table says.

I think we may struggle against a hard high press. Liverpool will harder I agree. From what I’ve seen this season we aren’t going to challenge for the title. Top 4 is more realistic.

This place has become an absolute kingdom of pessimistic fucking losers at the moment!

I agree with you apart from one word, it’s not become, it’s been like it for years. Each to their own opinion, but it doesn’t stop me thinking a lot of them are miserable cunts

There are 'fans' conceding the title before we have played a November league game...even though we drew at the leaders and have still to play them at home...imagine if these 'fans' had been in charge in 2012 when we had an 8 point gap to make up with 6 games remaining. They're opposition fans trying to sow doubt.

We’ve a very good record against them which is useful but we need a reaction after last week’s underperformance.

I think Pep got it wrong last week by not playing Nico O’Reilly. Nico was obviously not fully match fit which was an issue.

Definitely need to start integrating Cherki.

We’re at home against a very well coached side but we have the best coach in the world. I expect a reaction to the villa defeat tomorrow.
It wasn’t a mistake by Pep not to start O’Reilly. He came off injured against Everton and wasn’t ready to start against Villarreal or Villa.

2nd or eighth by tomorrow night
We could be second with a win and Sunderland defeat or draw.
Third with a win and Sunderland win.
Fourth with a draw and a Sunderland defeat.
Fifth with a draw and a Sunderland win or draw.
Eighth with a defeat.
