It was Steven Warnock, ex dipper! Can someone is US tell me — who was the colo(u)r commentator on USA paired with Jon Champion?

I'm sure Iraola will look back at the game, and with hindsight will realise Bournemouth did too.
Our issue is that we can't play like that very often, because the 8 defenders are on the edge of the box, and not just inside their own half.
He got it wrong today though.Thought they could go toe to toe with us with a high back line and got punished by fast moving counters.I'll say it now, if Pep were to leave tomorrow I'd be very happy with Iraola as a replacement. He's got a load of ok/decent players playing very well as a team there.
They were excellent and I like their manager. Entertaining game. Well done both teams. Worst performance of the day was Alty.Entertaining game. Everyone did their bit and we deserved the three points.
Fair play to Bournemouth, too. Bigger clubs with more expensively assembled squads won’t show half their attacking ambition.
I haven't seen Peps post match press comments. Has he finally said something about the reffing we get compared to each and every one of our PL opponents?City players continue to be refereed to European non contact game standards whilst our opponents get away with Championship rough and tumble refereeing as deemed inferior. Pep is right to draw attention to the bias.
what about his two assists? There was a moment in the first half when we were counter attacking and Cherki received the ball and stopped. Dead. And I suddenly saw Rodney Marsh. Brilliant. Flashy. But bad news for our quick passing side at the time. I do hope I’m wrong.
I really really hate that little phrase for some reason.Just wondering if today’s great performance is “on Pep”?
Hopefully good practice for when RealMardarses and slapped fave petulant Vin Jnr is up v Mattheus.Probably our best 90 mins of the season, obviously first half was better, but second half was decent. Encouraging signs with Cherki, Foden and Haaland all linking up well.
Big shout out for Nunes who put in an immense performance up against Semenyo.
The difference for Haaland today was that we played to his strengths, His pace and physical attributes make it almost impossible to knock him off the ball. So with any through ball and a chase he will be odds on to score. With Cherki and Gonzalez they both have the vision to pick such passes. The season starts now.
I really don't get him, he's useless imo. He's young so I'll give him time to improve! He needs to learn how to balance light and shade. When to slow down ( a bit) to read the space and man, then pick what you want to commit him to and go for it.
He just seems to be either slow down too much and does a Raz‘oh shit what do I do now?’ Or he pushes it like a headless chicken and shows far too much ball, then losing it.
In part true but we now have a player who might not subscribe to the theory that if you keep passing it sideways and backwards an opening might at some point occur. Cherki by reputation is not that sort of playerThey definitely got a bit carried away by their recent form. Glad to see us being ruthless again and taking full advantage. Back to playing against 10 behind the ball next week ffs
Agree we had far less possession, and they were dangerous. I like their workrate and wish them well for all their remaining games apart from when we go down to the Vitality next spring. Some team there. Came to play.I saw it differently, bournemouth had plenty but less effectively.
