They hold his arm just the same, stupid commentSo is Haaland. Are defenders free to 2-foot him as a way of defending against him?

It isn't though. They hold his arm just the same, stupid comment
I need to watch the highlights but I thought most decisions were correct. Might think differently after I’ve seen game again (and sober!)Johnny you are a long time poster on here so I respect your view but are you saying that Alty got the majority of the decisions in the first half right ?
This bit of your post is something I have thought about for a while now. At our peak, when a lot of teams struggled to get a kick when playing against us, they seemed to get a fair bit of licence from refs to kick our players instead. In a lot of games if more yellows would have been given when they should we would often have been playing against ten men. As this started to get called out pigmol actually issued a statement at the start of one season saying they were going to allow more physical contact. This then took the heat off them for "Levelling the game up" by letting teams foul us with almost impunity in some games.
They didn't even show the "foul" from the angle behind the goal (if my memory of last night is correct) on MotD.
Funny how they show "the bad angle" when they want a story to run in the media, and not show it when they just want the incident to drift away into forgotten-history after a day.
The Bmouth goal was up to VAR not Taylor. Nobody in the ground saw the pull on Donnarumma, so no complaints on the ref also not seeing it because he could have been looking at another bit if a grapple so Donnarumma may not even have been in his eyeshot.Bournemouth’s goal should have been disallowed. We should have had a penalty for handball (under current interpretations. We were fouled several times in the first half with no free kick awarded. Everyone who plays us gets a few extra seconds before half time to take a corner. Taylor had a stinker.
Correct, if he didn't want to gain advantage by linking his arm before he jumped then why did he do it?
And the same at full time, the 5 minutes of extra time wasn't even up ! ****Twice this season we've not been able to take a corner for HT....I've yet to see it happen in any other UK game this season.
Not as if we are ever going to score from a corner ...The Bmouth goal was up to VAR not Taylor. Nobody in the ground saw the pull on Donnarumma, so no complaints on the ref also not seeing it because he could have been looking at another bit if a grapple so Donnarumma may not even have been in his eyeshot.
But VAR should be picking that up… if the ball was in play (it’s not a foul before then unless it’s violent conduct) it should have been disallowed by VAR or Taylor asked to go to the screen.
Hooper missed the same thing in the United v Arsenal game earlier this season and VAR didn’t deem it a foul… same sort of pull on the Rag keeper by Saliba. I did say at the time though, while it could easily have been a foul, the Rag keeper needed to be stronger. Donnarumma also has to be stronger there n’all I think it was quite poor by Donnarumma. You see players win headers with defenders pretty much piggy-backing them with 15 stone in weight barely affecting them reaching the ball, that little pull on Donnarumma wasn’t much.
The handball isn’t handball under current interpretations. It his his leg, then his hand. That’s not handball.
The only things I was annoyed at with Taylor yesterday was a foul on Foden when he waved play on but we ended up back at near our box with possession when the foul was not far from the Bmouth box (how’s that advantage?), and the corner at the end of the first half… it was only 14 seconds after the minimum of 5 minutes added time and there were stoppages within the 5 minutes to easily allow us to take a corner.
So a foul then...I've just watched both incidents again on ref watch. The non penalty was correct, it hit his leg first, very lucky for the player but by the rules of the game it's not going to be given.
On the Donnarumma 'foul' it's subjective. I don't like Taylor but I can see why he didn't give it and thought Donnarumma was being soft. However, if you watch it closely that slight touch alters his jump, putting him off balance which is why he did a weak punch resulting in the goal.
Power Corruption and Kids...seems all the folks " at the top " do it.Yep and when they fall in the trap of fame, start snorting coke and take pictures of kids.
I'd like to think we do things a little differently to that lot, we've proven that we don't need to join them to beat them so I hope we don't ever stoop to their levels. I just want impartiality, I don't want us turning into cunts in order to get it.This is where pep should just come out and say the player had his arm wrapped around donno! Say it on the after match interview when it is the bbc they then will look at it more to point it out! A certain manager always made sure he said things he wanted to be known to the bbc
This post has nailed it.The Bmouth goal was up to VAR not Taylor. Nobody in the ground saw the pull on Donnarumma, so no complaints on the ref also not seeing it because he could have been looking at another bit if a grapple so Donnarumma may not even have been in his eyeshot.

To be fair to Green he couldn't get a word in edgeways with that other 'pundit' and Green actually said 'Oh welcome to the programme' in a sarcastic way when he did manage to speak but whatsisface the main one just laughed at him. He was, probably deliberately, side lined. IMHOThey had ex goalie Green on MOTD where you think it would have been an interesting debate to be had,but no was never even mentioned !
Dont anyone ever try to convince me there is not an anti City agenda throughout the game.
If he feels impeded he should fall over like he was shot. Might be the only way we get refereed fairly.Saying he should dealt with it better well you try being on your toes ready to jump while someone is got there arm wrapped round the top of your arm then jus testing when the ball comes over you see donno jumps and its angles to how he got pulled!
