Premier League Games | 1/2/3 Nov '25

Just seen that Everton 2v1/2v2 chance. Grealish played the initial pass then instead of following it up in support and making it a 3 v 2. He walked as the whole attack broke down then and was still walking when they put a ball into the back post where he could easily and should have been. Doesn't seem to have any desire to score goals.

28 games left. Say, 5 wins and 5 draws; that'd get them to 38 pts, which should be more than enough to keep them up. It's not very often these days that you need the mythical 40 pts to stay up. More often than not, mid thirties will be enough. Just had a quick google (Oo-err!). Only 3 sides have been relegated with 40 pts. And over the last 10 seasons, the average points total collected by the teams finishing 18th has been 32 pts. So mid thirties ought to be enough.

Totally....never in my wildest dreams did I expect it. My kids are living the dream. We will drop down..fixtures through December are horrendous.... but to have 18 in the bank is fantastic.

The media has gone OTT on us a bit..but it's nice to be spoken about.

There is no ballplaying playmaker, who will go on a mazy dribble like the Everton lad.... but they do work bloody hard....and seemingly as a team...and I'll take that.

Isn't that pretty much what every fan wants from their team? To graft like fuck. If they do that, but still get beat by the better team, I won't complain.

This jumped upon lack of so called "professionalism" never manifested itself on the pitch. It's a convenient stick to beat him with.
Fwiw, the way he and to a similar extent, Phillips were thown under the bus and abandoned, was a very poor episode - especially when weekly piss poor performances by others appear to be ignored and indeed rewarded.

I believe he himself pointed out his off field activities were an issue, no?

I'm not interested in others poor performances they are for other threads.

He was given chances over those 18 months, and he didn't take them. Pep decided he was surplus, and we couldn't sell him, so he was loaned, maybe now at Everton the penny has dropped that it was on him, so he's trying harder ?

Never had a bad game for us - perhaps a couple of average ones - who doesn't.
You may not be interested in others performances, I am, but in an organisation, treating people differently and unfairly, compared to others will eventually prove problematic.

If he never had a bad game and perhaps a couple of avarage games, what were all the other games.
 
Typical Jack started well faded out completely.
Take it Moyes is holding him back now.
Everton slipping down the league at an alarming rate.
They were rotten against us.
Need a win soon.
Again they are lucky that the teams below them are shite.
