Seat Counters 25/26

Haha. Scratch that.I should have listened to myself yesterday when I said these selling patterns looked unnatural.

346 seats have just dropped right around the stadium.

This is for Dortmund.
Still pretty much a full house though which is great considering the transport hell in Manchester these days.

These will sell today too but I've got a feeling that it will be half empty at kick off as there's something on at the arena and it's bonfire night. A rush hour accident or two on the motorway network and there's the potential for chaos.

It's a great little seat count this one on the quiet. It's like a little warm up for bigger things to come. Touch and go on whether it sells out and also random seat drops by City.

It is really hard work getting to games these days. The trains are a shambles and the roads are gridlocked. I am near Preston but two hours to get home from a night game is routine by car. That said I would not miss a game for anything apart from health. Watching Haaland is a privilege. I love the night matches.

Remember back in the day you could do all the away games with your mates, pay on the gate no probs.
That's true but most clubs (including City) didn't take anywhere near as many to London away games as they do now.

My first visit to Craven Cottage was the dismal 5-1 defeat in 84.

Paul Power apologised to "almost a thousand" travelling supporters in the match programme for the next home game,

Its decent but as a long time admirer of the work of seat counters, the Wembley semi-finals and finals are where the seat counters really hit their straps.

Im praying for a Carabao Cup final appearance, as much for the seat count, as the day out tbh. The Palace FA Cup final seat count was far better than the match.

From memory there was quite a large number of blues in the open end

I was in the main stand with my wife , being laughed at by fulham fans as the score kept rising

Oh those were the days eh !

Random question and very early. Say if we get to the league cup final do they get to general sale or no in terms of just having a membership? Or no.

We were in the Ernie Clay Seats with the open end to our right.

Yeah, there were probably more than Power's "almost a thousand" guestimate, but nowhere near what we take nowadays.

Fulham averaged just over 8,000 in 83-84 and recorded 9,684 against us.

It was around this time that I started looking at our promotion rivals and realising that Chelsea and Newcastle were both more skilful than us whilst Sheffield Wednesday were more powerful.

WEmbley tickets never go on open sale. They can't risk them getting into the hands of the opponents. If it's a relatively unattractive league cup final they might become available to members, but you might be left with the expensive (£250-300) seats. They are always last to go and sales slow right up.

I was just about to reply to you; ‘I wonder if any further will be released that may have not been sold by ticket tout partners?’.

Still a good to see close to a sell out for a League Phase game on Bonfire Night.
