When the going gets tough, Jude goes missing once again
I agree.
Why would he leave Bayern if everything is working for him? It's a pinnacle club for any manager.
Whatever people say about that club, there are probably only a few clubs bigger than them in world football.
It's quite fanciful thinking if Pep was to call it a day tomorrow, Vinny would be rushing back to manage us.
I hate that, they were the first team to start doing this and players do it at every level of the game, it’s a foul in every way. The sooner the officials start to referee the game properly and blow for a foul the better.Yeah, lots of pushing and shoving.
You can't say that! When the going gets tough, Jude goes missing once again
I must admit, I don’t think Pep will go beyond his current contract, but you never know.I'd like to think you're all right. Truly. Make no mistake, he would be my first choice for here. Over Enrique, even, because he's younger but already experienced. And he knows the club inside out. However, I just think you're all being pretty optimistic. Bayern will fight us tooth and nail if we come in for him — count on it, given their history with us (they are one of the European clubs that see us as intruders). And I could have understood him renewing for a two-year period, maybe even three. Four sounds like a commitment he didn't need to make, if he's expecting to come in two years (under two years, now).
By the way, I would be more than astonished if Pep wanted to go on beyond this two-year extension. I believe his thinking was that he wanted to hand over a renewed and trained team to whoever comes in, because he's responsible like that. Unlike the Govan bully, who saw his club as living and falling by him, apparently.
Of course, it would be wonderful if Pep decided he had the energy to go through to 2029. He looks a bit burnt out to me, or in any case in need of another sabbatical.
So what??? Players sign deals that they never complete all the time.Just signed a new deal, didn’t he?

I'd imagine he'd want to win the CL with Bayern. Winning the Bundesliga, yep ok, but the CL would be a huge feather in his cap. The way Bayern are playing I'd imagine the Spanish duo will be keeping tabs on him as well.So what??? Players sign deals that they never complete all the time.
Until 2029.Just signed a new deal, didn’t he?
Bayern absolutely do have a problem with City. Go on Bayern forums/subreddits - apparently City are nothing but a plastic oil club with no history.I don't think Pep has any problem with Bayern whatsoever. How could he? He managed them, and was feted by them. I'm not even convinced that City have a problem with Bayern. What I do think is that Bayern have a problem with us — City.
IMHO they haven't played anyone decent yet. Even PSG were depleted and have been poor by their standards in Ligue 1 this season.I'd imagine he'd want to win the CL with Bayern.
