Once Phil put us in front, there was only ever going to be one winner. He was excellent throughout, as were many others. Both wingers troubled their respective wing-backs all game, and their willingness to run at the defence and stay wide helped to open up BVB rearguard, which in turn gave Phil the room to dictate the play and enough time to take the shot for the first goal.
I’d love to know the speed of the ball after Erling thumped in the second; it was really travelling.
