The line up of kids just before kick off, when the players run over for a second and have a photo with them (not the mascots who come out the tunnel with the players, the other group).
My son has won a place in the team photo on Sunday! But I know the parent is made to be up in the gods for it in the corner under the scoreboard rather than in their own seat, so don't see it clearly.

I was hoping, begging, if anyone in Colin Bell would take some pictures of the quick moment the players are stood with my son. Please please...

Yes, you may remember, I've actually asked this before, as 2 years ago he got to do it then - I said he'd won it then, but it was actually done as an apology from city for sending mum (via my email address) a named email on 2nd Jan 24 asking her why she had been failing to use her season ticket - when she'd died 6 months earlier and they already knew. It had very much upset me, so they offered that and a kit for my son.

This time he has actually won it in the junior season ticket holders random raffle. And he'll never get the chance again! I know from experience they take just one picture, and not a burst, as my son has his eyes shut in the official photo as did Kevin who was stood behind him! I value so so so much the pictures people on here messaged me, of the line up, to have those extra pics, it was brilliant. I know it may seem cheeky to ask the same of people again, but it added to the memory so much having more than one image.

I cried tears of pride last time, watching him walk onto the pitch, thinking of mum, and all we'd been through. 2 years on I'll be crying again probably, tears of pride but also this time it'll be cos everything is shit. My partner of over 30 years is a shit, life is crap, we've just moved into my childhood home after 2 years of diy after mum died, my fella never speaks to me and more, my son has had such disruption, I always feel I've failed him. And I'm 50 and thoroughly fed up.

Only I could turn a happy thread into this gloom!!!!! Sorry!!!! Back to topic.

Please please please, if anyone is in those blocks or has a view of the brief photo they take. Please could you take some photos and message me with them.

My son is the extremely pale, extremely thin, 9 year old with longish light hair (Tho I'm meant to be attempting to cut some off saturday!)

A few days after Sunday is the 40th anniversary of my very first time at Maine Road. I remember so vividly walking up the steps in the main stand, the white walls around me, and being struck dumb at the beauty of the pitch in front of me. We won too. I miss my mum, I hate my life right now, never felt so alone, but I have my son, and I really want to make this right for him and the best, he's obsessing how he had his eyes shut last time. And how I managed to get many more photos from kind people here. I said I'd do my best but might not manage it. I know he'll enjoy it, but without photos he moves on and forgets things very very quickly. I want to give him the best life I can.

Sorry for waffling on!

So it's not the mascots who stand there for the handhsakes and anthem facing the dugouts, it's the other group of kids waiting between the half way line and the North corner.

Thank you so much if you can help, you've no idea x

(We haven't got the desktop computer set up yet after the move, so I'm struggling with touch typing on a small old tablet, so may not be able to.post as much. But I'd anyone can help, dm me and I can send my email addy after Sunday to send some. Thank you so so much. He's managed to get me to buy him the new home shirt for this! He's not daft ;)

This very technical (!) graphic shows the group I mean. The players come over for a photo with them after the handshakes and anthem. Thanks again. Sorry for waffling on and annoying people... ;)

Deleted.

Ive got beautiful film of my grandkids walking out with the players and professional pictures at that.
I’m sure some of the fans will take pictures for you Oh and you’ve not failed your son, he’ll grow up knowing you love him and that’s the most important thing.

Yeah they take one, but it is just one (ie not a quick burst of 5 in a second and pick the best) and he had his eyes shut last time! Having fan ones of the players around fornthe extra seconds is a big big help and such an extra keepsake. Thank-you again everyone.

I knew there'd be one. And it's not a mascot. Never mind. Delete the thread. I won't try and get a spare pic so that a kid on the spectrum who is obsessing that he had his eyes shut will "ruin" this final chance. Did youread why I gotnrhe firstbchance? My mum was dead. Maybe he gets this second chance cos his mum is likely to drop dead. Bye then.

Mods delete thread. Please. I've gone and identified what my son looks like. Remove it all. Cos we're a selfish family aren't we. I've had it. Maybe I should get slammed into tye wall again at home. Or maybe I could have tye bag table stewards laugh in my face like the last match when I had to empty my entire bag. Logging out. Bye
