Will we win the league this season? No

Has a similar feel to the 20-21 season, we looked awful in the early stages but the team got its act together and players like Rodri and Cancelo emerged. City didn’t hit the top of the league until after the New Year and then slowly batted everyone away by the spring.

We have got two very good teams in the mix with Arsenal and Liverpool though, when in 20-21 it was Solksjaer’s rags not bothering after mid January.
 
You’ll laugh at this but I would not be remotely shocked if we won another treble.

Donna was built for the champions league, there’s no way Arsenal keep up this form, and domestic cups are a lottery.

And we’re only going to get better as the season evolves, the new lads bed in and we’ve still not really seen much of Rodri.

people were writing us off at this stage of the treble season!

Mentioning Rodders and Mr. Cancelo in the same breath warrants an instant permanent ban.

Leaders liverpool going 14 matches without winning helped.
 
It going fo be tough. I can see Arsenal defending and set piecing their way to the title.We'll be up there though.

He did do well Cancelo that season, I remember the season before and he looked absolutely dog shit. He had two seasons of being very good and then the fall out with Pep came halfway through the treble season.

A very talented player with a very shitty attitude. I hope it burnt him up watching his former colleagues completing a historical treble .

He was credited with the treble too plus the BL in the same season, and knocked City out the world cup with a world class pass.

He has has the last laugh no doubt.

Think you are right mate,

Arsenal this Arsenal that etc etc.

They are doing well results wise but they are not sweeping sides aside.

They have a wobble in them like the Dippers have had, and suffer from pressure at crunch time.

We've done well to get back into contention so soon after an iffy start.

Still no, but that's mainly due to the lack of consistency of the team, which is to be expected for a team in transition.

Looking back two months later, we have definitely improved in almost all departments.

Our press is better and are better positioned to win second balls than earlier. Still room for improvement in both .

Foden is actually transitioning himself to the midfielder that we all hoped him to be. Nico is making huge progress. Rudolph still needs to do more. Hopefully Rodri comes back fit December onwards.

With Nunes, NOR, Dias/Gvardiol, we are dealing with counter attacks much better recently, helped by our improved press.

Wide forwards are improving, still too less of scoring threat for my liking.

Since August, we've matched Arsenal.
