Match discussion - Everton (A) - Sunday 9 November K.O. 14:30

City will be travelling to Goodison Park to face Everton on Sunday 9 November for a 14:30 (UK) kick-off, live on BBC Two in the United Kingdom.

City XI: Yamashita, Casparij (C), Rose, Knaak, Beney, Blindkilde Brown, Hasegawa, Ouahabi, Miedema, Fujino, Shaw

Subs: Keating, Clinton, Coombs, Hemp, Wienroither, Lohmann, Thomas, Prior, Oldroyd

Good to see Hempo and Syd on the bench and Bex gets her first start of the season.

I note Alex Greenwood is now confirmed injured and as usual - which does the Women's Team no service - the manager and club updates are fantastically vague on what the injury is, and how long she may be out. Why on earth the club does this god knows? She could be out "a few weeks" says the manager, whilst also being described on the website as out "for a short while" - no word on the timeline that they will know of course, or what the injury is. Basically same as Hemps injury recently as it's all left a mystery - might be back in January, it might be May. The Shimizu injury last season was the crème de la Crème - zero word at all when it was pretty clearly an ACL.

I'm with you on that. Why he didn't give some minutes to Knaak against West Ham I will never know especially as Greenwoods injury was known prior to the game. I would say it's pretty obvious it will be Rose/Knaak against rag scum.
