Pep might feel Cherki is better suited to the last 30 mins, keep it tight for the first hour, wouldn’t surprise me.

I think Pep will start with the extra midfielder today, and no right winger. Bernie over that way, with Nico and Reijnders in the middle, Phil behind Big Erl, and Doku on the left wing.

Agree with most of that, but Savinho would tear Robertson a new one, may just sway it for Pep. Then again, he loves Bernardo so you may be right.

Biggest problem with both Savinho and Cherki is that they don't help their RB at all really. If it's Nunes (90% likely) he'll need help, which makes Bernardo the most likely choice. Plus he's the captain, if he's not picked in big games when he's fit and rested then why is he the captain?

I would actually love to see Khusanov and Cherki on the right, Khusanov's pace is such a valuable asset against top wingers, but if he was going to do that I think he'd have played against Villa or Dortmund, his FA Cup game returning from injury was...rusty.
