2 week break so no need to worry about this one yet, enjoy the Liverpool result. Hopefully everyone comes back fit.

A Saturday night game in Newcastle is right up there for tough away games in this league. It's our away form that we need to correct too, so it's a good test for us.

We've got Leverkusen (H) the Wednesday after but I imagine all team selection focus is on Newcastle.

Newcastle haven't had the best start to the season but they're always dangerous at home.

True......if they play like they did today, the EDS team would turn them over, they were awful. Tbf Brentford weren't much better.

It's their away form that has been turgid. Their home form has been good. They'll cause us problems, got a lot of pace upfront, I really like woltemade and their midfield is powerful. If we play how we have been recently though, our attack will cause their back line all manner of issues that they wont be able to cope with.

Only a win is acceptable even though its a tough place. You can't have the weekend we've had and then ruin it all the very next match by giving Arsenal some breathing room back. Have to win the next handful of league games by any means, stick a run together and build pressure on arsenal.

We'll have to see who is fit and available after internationals, Pep always looks at bringing in players who havent been on international duty which probably means savinho comes in, only he and nico come to mind as players not selected for international duty.

Yes but they have Ramsdale who is a good sub. keeper. Joe Linton's was a gash/impact injury so I would imagine he would be back after the international break.

Newcastle played very well at home to Liverpool and Arsenal but lost both games. I think this is one of our most difficult away games of the season {Liverpool, Arsenal (done), Villa (done), Spurs, Chelsea, Man Utd, Newcastle}.

They could be in the relegation zone at the end of this month.
