2025/26 NFL

City beat Littlewoods.

Dolphins beat Buffalo.

If Carlsberg did my sports weekends…

Haha conversely I knew as soon as we had a pretty easy game vs Liverpool I'd switch over and the Bills would be fucking up playing one of the worst teams in the AFC.

Actually I knew we'd lose last night the moment the Waddle trade got rejected.

Patriots keep on surprising. Their recent run has included a pretty soft set of fixtures, so I really thought it would come to an end in Tampa yesterday , but they got the job done again.

They now have The Jets ( 2-7 ) Bengals ( 3-6 ) and The Giants ( 2-8 ) in their next three games before their bye week. If they can win those, the division could be virtually secured before they play The Bills again in Week 15.

Bengals with a very tough schedule ahead. One step closer to Caleb Downs out of Ohio State. I’m commited to the tank now.

Just thinking - with Tennessee forecast the #1 pick at the moment, I can definitely see them trading back as they don’t need a QB. Maybe if a team has 2 first round picks, and one to be a top 10 pick, they might trade up. Who fits that criteria? The LA Rams! They have Atlanta’s first this year, which would like be top-10 along with their own. My prediction is they trade up and get Mendoza who can sit behind Stafford and eventually make the change, keeping stafford for a year or two to mentor him. That’s definitely what Mendoza would like anyways.

All roads lead to Chiefs or Eagles…
Would love Seattle to do it or another underdog though.
I wouldn't call the Lions or Rams underdogs in the NFC.

If the Lions can keep their offensive line healthy and protect Goff, they're as good as anyone. They've got a tough game in Philly next week tho.

Season started so well for the Raiders with a really unexpected win at New England. Now we're 2 - 7 and likely won't win any of our remaining games. What a time to be alive and a Raiders fan.

Tanking for a safety!

Very good player. You will be looking at maybe Kyle Hamilton level. Matt Patricia said he reminds him of Troy Polalamlu. That's going a bit too far! I have watched most of his games since he left Bama. He is pretty much everywhere the ball is.

I would suggest the Bengals may be best looking for a DE and iDL.

J-E-T-S now with back to back wins......Wild Card weekend here we come !

I read some stats that basically said that was the worst quality win in NFL history. A number of stats, including the fact that they had less than 150 yds of offense.

The Jets will need a new OC if they do not want to waste those accumulated first round picks.

Yea, they won’t want to tank but we’ll lose enough to find ourselves around 10th. He’s a generational safety talent and is the type of guy to be able to command a defence and help everyone else on the defence with howhe plays. If we got as far as in and around 5th, we probably should go DL, despite drafting Shemar Steward…

Yeah, they’re not what I meant to be honest. More like the Chargers or someone similar.

Hes very good but big call to refer to him as generational. He will do well to reach the level of Kyle Hamilton who I think is the best safety in the NFL. It will be interesting to see his test numbers at the Combine. He is probably quicker than Hamilton but not the size and power.

He is super intelligent and instinctive but not sure he will be the green dot at safety. Talking about green dots, the Bengals could do with a linebacker. A good draft for the position this year. Last year was good too. Schwesinger is a gem.

I hope it ends up being an easy pick to make anyways as we can pretty much only draft well when it’s a no-brainer.

Fangio will always keep the Eagles in games, and then it’s whether Hurts can win it. Which is nearly always does. Good time to be an Eagles.

Get through that Philly game relatively unscathed next week and at worst 6-4, they are have a slightly easier schedule to really kick on. To think they've had the eagles, chiefs, ravens, packers and bengals away already this season, to be 6-4 is a great outcome. OL and secondary are key moving forward.
