The problem is I think if we get one we will have to also replace nunes as i don’t think he would suit a rotation role at right back as he seems to cut out mistakes the longer he stays in the team and the more faith is put into him.

Rico Lewis doesn't have the athleticism to play wide.

Khus does but doesn't have the ability on the ball.

Meaning it's only Nunes, and he needs a proper backup/competitor next season.

Sorta like how RAN and Nico O Reilly are that pair on the left.

+ can play multiple positions - CB/RB
+ defensively solid, good size and physical
+ fast
+ good dribbler and ball carrier
+ good age (24), still could learn and elevate his game under Pep
+ imho best RB who does not play for biggest clubs

- Needs work in crossing
- expensive, has a long deal with Galatasaray
- with RAN and Marmoush and potentially him joining, we would lose 3 players for AFCON


Read
+/- very young (19), more like a project player, not ready made signing, would take a long time to get good RB/WB but Pep can coach the shit out him
+ relatively cheap
+ good dribbler and ball carrier
+ good crossing ability
- loves to tackle, like to get stuck in the challenge, might be
- small size, not very physical
- can play one position (might play as winger if needed imho)

I was going to congratulate you on your assessment of Nunes but you got there before me.

When looking at prospective fullbacks, it’s worth noting that Guardiola currently appears to be favouring physicality and height. Nunes and O’Reilly may not be traditional fullbacks, but they are both powerful and both add a bit of height, too. We’ve passed on the likes of Couto and Frimpong, and it’s hard to see us changing preference now.

Rico and Khusanov are legible backups IMO. I would wait for a world-beater to emerge before investing in rubbish. Chances are a backup won't step-in and be above them lads.
