This guy is such an overpromoted buffoon, I have to keep reminding myself that he’s real and not some Kal Penn-portrayed uncover satire job.
He does look like a cartoon character and his official portrait is alarmingly comedic!

The centre of US politics is way to the right of UK. You cannot imagine a labour opposition acting in a similar way to these Democratic Party traitors. Tbf, no UK gov would act like the Trump admin and let people go hungry. US politics are weird and not humanitarian. People like Bernie and AOC are denounced as communists…joke politics.

What's the point in being an American??

We're not funding science, not funding education, not funding disaster relief, not funding healthcare, not funding food for the poor.

I mean what the fuck are we getting out of our taxes? Bombs to Israel to genocide more brown people and a bailout to Argentina because Trump's billionaire partners in crime lost their asses betting on their dipshit libertarian president.

Or just so @Dax777 can say he pwned the libs and Trump is the bestest POTUS ever??

Well hope he and the ones that voted for him enjoy their health care premium increases month after month after month.

Funny how he'll probably just say fuck it.. and not pay for healthcare and then when he needs his his savings and house will be gone. That's part of the MAGA plan!
And didn't Trump say last week that he thought the Republicans would have to cave?

Morning Joe is hilarious today.

Schumer ringing his mate Joe Scarborough who's telling people the Dems did the right thing and the decision will be justified in January. A full 180 from him screaming capitulation yesterday.

I saw a breakdown about the scenes of 'war' in Portland that Agent Orange said he'd seen.

Apparently, it was Fox News (I know...) showing scenes from 2020 and passing them off as present day.

Lindsey Graham snook in a line to the shutdown bill to get himself and some other senators a $500,000 payment from the DOJ for their audacity in wanting their phone records to investigate the insurrection.

Even Speaker Johnson thought that was wrong but didn't realise until it passed.

Riiiiiiiiiiggggghhhttt - so JD Vance who tells people illegal migrants cross the border and undercut Americans minimum wage to get work are also taking expensive houses off Americans using their below minimum wage? I know MAGA will believe this but it makes zero sense

I know just a little bit about this topic (okay, I know a LOT about it) and let’s just say he’s . . . . errr, wrong.

I'm pretty sure that this is just blatant corruption when 8 Republican Senators legitimately investigated for their actions on Jan get to vote on a bill that automatically awards them $500,000 for each instance relating to the personal inconvenience of having their phone metadata searched, something that is perfectly legal to do. Each one of them potentially stands to be automatically awarded $1M.

But, drain the swamp, right?

Who the fuck does he think work on all these construction sites?

I'm pretty sure his boss has used illegal immigrants an all his construction project, and famously refused to pay up on numerous occasions.

Don't follow American politics that much. Do the Dems even have anyone who looks likely to lead them (and is popular) at the next election?

Newsome seems to be the preferred one. I doubt he wants to run.

I suspect the Dems won't have learned from last time and it will be Buttigegg verses Harris. And the super delegates will make the same mistake again...
