Liverpool (H) | PL | Post Match Thread

The reason Robertson was offside in the first place as it was his job to obstruct Gianluigi Donnarumma. Everyone else moved out while he stayed there trying to block him . It's that simple and obvious. Then he ducked out the way of the ball. So if course he did and was interfering with play.
If he had let the ball hit him rather than avoid it he could have claimed he did not obstruct the view of the balls original flight path.

Otherwise why duck out of the balls path other than to delay a ball sighting by our long named goalie?

Talksport and the bbc STILL banging on about the Dippers disallowed goal. It's Wednesday ffs, get over it. Pathetic
The BBC, if a result goes against their preferred winner seem to think that the more they bang on about it the following week the PL will order a rematch, and award the disallowed goal at kick off, just to make it 'even'! If people are debating about bias in the BBC they need look no further than their football coverage.

It seemed all of their plan was to make salah one vs one against Nicp O reiley. Salah did get 4/5 good one vs one chances against Nico but Nico bossed salah. One moment nico was bypassed when schobozlia was involved.

The plan went that badly for them that Nico wasn’t pinned looking after Salah. Instead he was dragging Liverpool players out to him up the other end of the pitch to give space for Doku to carve them open.

Day 3 and they are still moaning like a teething baby but never say a thing when they get a decision which they do frequently
Same as a Rag 'leg up'. They regard it as part of the 'swings 'n roundabouts of a tumultuous season, the rough 'n the smooth of human arbitration. But when there's the slightest hint of 'rough' they want a judicial review.

One thing Sunday did was remind me of why i fell in love with the game all those years ago. A packed ground, with a fair bit riding on the game even this early in the season. A typical miserable grey Manchester day weather wise, to match anything Maine Road ever had to offer, with incessant swirling rain and the sky almost dark at kick off time.
A fired up racous crowd, allied in our disdain and hatred for all things scouse. A pulsating game with City running the opposition ragged and with a two goal lead by halftime. An absolute worldie long range shot to make it three nil early in the second half and almost non stop singing all game by every section of the ground. Wonderful.

Its fucking hilarious. Just popped SSN on and they have a full on fan panel frothing at the mouth about how it wasn't a goal. Some liverpool fan from Kent representing them who couldn't get two words out just blurted out '115, what about 115???' when discussing VAR and the goal. They really are the worst of the worst as a fan base and a stain to English football.

They will have to sit and stew about this for the entire international break, thank fuck we weren’t on the wrong side of this result as the wank fest would have been off the charts. Rejoice knowing we are causing so much pain to them instead.

craig bellemey sumed him up the best, he would get past you, in a telephone box .
There was so much to enjoy on Sunday. Monday morning and the Utd supporter we see every Monday for coffee greeted me with, “i really like that lad of yours. Liverpool put two on him to block him off and he just ran straight through them.”

Then our first goal. I’ve enjoyed seeing all those flowing passing moves leading to goals but I’ve never seen a move start with someone hemmed in the corner quadrant at their own end. The way we played the ball upfield was beautiful.

Then there was their “goal”. This was a matter of judgement. The judgement of the ref, the linesman, VAR and Howard Webb (of all people) was that it was NOT a goal. But of course the only valid judgement can come from that riff raff of scousedom and their allies. Fortunately the controversy in no way at all detracts from the enjoyment of the episode.

So much to enjoy…. and I enjoyed every second of it.

Let's not forget the Mane - Ederson incident ! Probably the only time Fungusbum's comment " he could have been killed " would have been appropriate ; and yet the confected outrage at Mane's sending-off from the dippers and their lackies in the Lickspittle Media ( remember dear old Gary Ratface ) was far greater than even their reaction to the Robertson "offside". Strange that every referee has patiently pointed that he was interfering with play and therefore offside but the Scousers ( forever the victims ) still send an official complaint to PIGMOL.

Oh .. and don't mention Heysel ( oh shit..I just have )

As much as I hate Trump, and I'm not getting into a political debate... This last few weeks has proven that the apparently impartial BBC, are happy to run with mislead stories if it suits the organisations agenda. Who's to say they aren't doing the same with football.....

Every time a redshit team gets turned over there is a stewards inquiry and a coroners court inquest where to next the Court of Justice in The Hague ffs
