Been too busy eating my humble pie to comment on the match til now but that wasn’t bad was it. Dias imperious at the back. Is there currently a better RB in the league than Nunes ? Bernie back to his scouse hating best. Nico O so mature and accomplished. Nico G had me forgetting for a while that the best DM in the world was on the bench. Cherki and Phil too clever for their staid midfielders. And of course dazzling Doku, fuck me what a performance from the lad. And underpinning it all the genius of Pep on a landmark occasion for him.

One sour note though. I was sickened to return home last night, put the Sky broadcast on and see that Spitty wasn’t there. Consoled myself in the knowledge that maybe we’d issued a lifetime ban to the moronic ****.

The reason Robertson was offside in the first place as it was his job to obstruct Gianluigi Donnarumma. Everyone else moved out while he stayed there trying to block him . It's that simple and obvious. Then he ducked out the way of the ball. So if course he did and was interfering with play.

If he had let the ball hit him rather than avoid it he could have claimed he did not obstruct the view of the balls original flight path.

Otherwise why duck out of the balls path other than to delay a ball sighting by our long named goalie?
