It’s a myth that Milner was derogatory towards City.

Milner said in an in-house Liverpool interview, ‘Winning two titles at City, we had some good players, but as a team this is the best I’ve played in’.
He also mentioned something about the Liverpool team he was playing in had the best team spirit he’d ever played in (can’t find the quote).

Absolutely nowt wrong with saying either thing. It’s not even derogatory about City, it’s just being sycophantic to Liverpool/Lpool fans while he was at that club.

We plucked anything as an excuse to boo him in a retort to Lpool fans booing Sterling. I thought it was odd of us as a fanbase and I’ve given Milner a clap every time we’ve faced him since leaving when his name is read out before the game.

We’ve booed a number of other players, often for no reason n’all.

We booed Sturridge quite badly when he played for Chelsea and Lpool. All he did was leave because Hughes was playing Ched Evans ahead of him and Chelsea who were better than us at the time came in for him. He even didn’t celebrate when he scored against us (which I don’t actually like, get celebrating!).

We booed Dickov for celebrating scoring against us, who without we might still be in League 1.

We booed Distin and James for daring to leave us for a team higher up the league.

We booed Barton when he was still playing for us because he wouldn’t sign a new contract… he was a wanker though, even when he was with us he said his teammates were ‘substandard’, he battered Dabo in training and put a cigar out on Tandy’s eye at a Christmas do. So with him I can understand and I did boo him when he played against us for Newcastle.

Cancelo was booed when he was still our player, on loan at Bayern, and the truth hadn’t even come out about what had gone on with him at City… we just decided he was now the enemy.

We have treated some ex-players poorly with booing them when there was no reason to. Most sets of fans are similar across the board though, and we aren’t much different to any of them.

I think a number of our fans are treating Savinho poorly at the moment n’all.
Re Savinho.
There always seems to be at least one player who some 'fans' single out for abuse/scapegoat.
Doku, Nunes and Gundog spring to mind.
One mistake or failure to beat a man and you're toast.

it’s actually really funny watching the fallout from this and the head wobbles the city haters are having.
Robertson is clearly affecting play, it’s unlucky but it’s hardly a big deal. A decision like that can go either way.
Next one Doku penalty is 100% a penalty but still a lot of pundits don’t think so
They are complaining because they don’t like the fact we won and would prefer anything else

Trent handball
Milner giving it to sane but offside given
Foden fouled on goal no red card
Bernado foul not Milner second yellow
Alison flapping in goal line getting free kick
Haaland fabinho shirt pull

Don’t recall anyone giving a shit then

Let’s not forget
Arsenal getting a penalty after shot missed
Rashford offside for Bruno goal
Henderson handball in cup final
handball against spurs for Jesus goal
Llorente handball
Bout three red cards not given for Brighton

Again don’t remember anyone giving a shit

Slot and the dippers are mentally weak to even pretend they weren’t absolute dog shit

Calling @Ric to the thread....they are all picking on me....it's not fair!

Afraid that an apology won't help my acca that crashed and cost me £300 (possibly) by us not scoring.

Whilst I obviously see it slightly differently from many of you, in that I thought the "goal" should have stood. I cannot see any mileage in complaining to PGMOL. It did nothing for us a couple of seasons ago, did nothing for Forest or Wolves and will never do anything to change any game after the fact. So, why bother?

Bottom line is that our "mini revival", was short lived, with the Villa & RM games hiding our deficiencies. As was pointed out Salah has dropped off a cliff form wise and perhaps his soon to be disappearance to AFCON could be the break that he and the team need. City thoroughly deserved the win and its down to Slot to prove his worth now and fix the problems that are obviously there. He has to change something and I hope he isn't as stubborn as Postecoglu or Martin in the past and make the changes needed.

It worked last season after Cootes told the truth about Klopp. VAR gave you everything after that !

The crying and complaining is all about trying to get every decision in their favour in future games. They did it when Spurs beat them and cried so much that the media backed them. That put enough pressure on officials and everything went their way. They are doing it again now as they are losing games and will worry Champions league may not be reachable. Difference now is that people know what is going on, they have seen it before, and I doubt even the many biased ex red pundits that are everywhere can save them.

I support Everton. We are mainly gash, but we keep supporting our team through it all. That is because we are real fans. We don't need trophies (Would not mind one though) to love our team. That is why I like City. Your fans stayed with the club no matter how bad it got, and you were rewarded big time for it. I doubt the tourist who follow our neighbours would put up with it if they had been in our shoes, and they would simply go find another club to follow. I actually feel sorry for the real Liverpool supporters who have to put up with the crying and moaning and the big headed 'Best in the world' any time they win anything, that the cult fans and the red media plug so much.

By the way. Their crying is even more laughable as City destroyed them on Sunday.

Totally agree its all about putting pressure on the officials in the future. Pisscan would do the same.

Thanks for those words and I hope your fans get some days in the sun before too long.
(Not too many mind ;-- ) ).

Have they stopped crying yet

I'm starting to think this period of grieving is unprecedented, even for them. Completely agree with the comments above that this is all geared toward favourable reffing decisions going forward....possibly the funniest thing I can think of is them getting shafted next game...and the game after that. Fucking hell, heads would explode XD

They should have sold him and spent (another) 100 million on someone who can track back :)
His form has plummeted this season, kept hold of him too long.
