I remember arguing with a scouser that both them & the Rags had covered up abuse & it will come out. Andy Woodward said on a podcast about it & mentioned the Irish lads at United. I know there was also allegations of Liverpool coach being moved on to cover it up.

I would be amazed if such didn't happen at almost every club in the country at some point.

Yep, basically anywhere that had adults in charge of children with little to no oversight. But as with every example, it's not that it happened, but how the club dealt with it and deal with it going forward. The scandal in the Catholic church wasn't just that priests were abusing children, it was that the church themselves were facilitating and covering it up.
