Someone said City are paying for his body to be returned home. Could be that, either way very generous.

What a terrible tragedy. Guy’s family have said (according to friends) that City couldn’t have done more and they’ve been fantastic.

Guy has now arrived home.He returned to Manchester on Saturday, 1st November 2025.

The family are overwhelmed by the outpouring of love and support.We will never forget how kind and thoughtful people have been.This kindness and love has carried us through a very difficult and unreal period.It’s uplifting to see just how much Guy was loved by so many.We will be forever grateful.

We express our heartfelt thanks to the Individuals and organisations that have worked so hard and professionally to return Guy home to his family.

We would like to thank the following people and organisations who provided support and hands on real help.

The four young men,some of Guy’s special friends,Tom,Dan,Shaun and Jack are in our thoughts.

We are very sad to announce further details of the funeral service for our beloved son Guy.

The funeral will be held on
Friday, 21" November 2025.

The funeral cortege will leave Guy's home

The main funeral service will take place at St Luke's Church, Brownley Road, M22 4PT.

We expect the funeral service to commence 1pm at St Luke’s Church.

All welcome to attend.

Following the church service, there will be committal ceremony at Southern Cemetery,Barlow Moor Road, M21 7GL. Family and close friends only.

Later that day there will be a celebration of Guy's life at St Anthony's Parish Centre Social Club,Portway, Wythenshawe, M22 OFJ.All welcome.

Dress code is your own personal choice.

We kindly request no flowers, but any donations can be made to the Shine charity.Shine makes a positive difference to the lives of people affected by spina bifida and / or hydrocephalus, and associated conditions. www.shinecharity.org.uk

We remain extremely grateful for the love and support from so many people and organisations.

That is a very kind and thoughtful tribute. You seem like a very caring family. I didn't know Guy but know his face from away trips. RIP Guy.
